Saw an ad for Tally in MSN Games which is a strange place to have it but shows it is out there somewhere.

This RNS doesn't justify this fall. Fres has clarity going forward on the tax situation which was one of the areas highlighted by Mexico's new president and in the overall scheme of things this doesn't look too damaging if I read it correctly. Perhaps optimism after the G20 has hit PM and Fres is also suffereing a bit from that.
Still holding long term and have seen nothing to change my view but that is just me opinion and not a recommendation in any way, shape or form.

I thought this is good news, saving them a lot of interest repayments and helping the balance sheet but from this drop apparantly not. I don't understand OXB sp.
Oxford, UK - 28 June 2019: Oxford Biomedica plc (LSE:OXB) ("OXB" or "the Group"), a leading gene and cell therapy group, announces that, further to the announcement of 28 May in relation to Novo Holdings' strategic investment in the Group and, in accordance with the stated use of proceeds from the transaction, Oxford Biomedica has now repaid in full its debt facility with Oaktree Capital Management.

This is more good news. Hopefully the stars are beginning to align and our multi year (15 in my case) patience will pay off.

Not that I can see and with PM prices remaining firm it seems a bit strange. I can't see anything new in the mexican economy either that would spook investors. Just profit taking after a good rise?

That's how I read them as well as Pictet had no previous notifiable position so must have been under 3% (I think) so must be a buy. As to why it is dropping so much today it could be profit taking from those who bought in at the recent low - which I did but am still holding as my average is considerbaly above this level.

In July, the company said it was continuing discussions with the UK taxman to resolve a matter arising from the Landfill tax, after it was issued with GBP37.6 million worth of tax assessments by HMRC.

The company said it still believes it has paid landfill tax correctly and continues to defend its position that HMRC has no claim.

"We expect to make progress with HMRC in the second half of 2018 and will update the market accordingly," Meredith added.

yes indeed. SP beginning to reflect it as well. Get the HMRC dispute out of the way and we could be heading back to previous values - hope so anyway as I am still down but more confident now.

I just dont understand why there has been no sp movement on this announcement. I am no expert but this seems a major breakthrough and companies usually say "pleased" not "delighted" as we have here. IMM has jumped hard though that might not be related Mystified but excited

Just following on from the below its certainly been a tougher period for BCPT and the broader Property sector. The peer group has had a heavy re-rating over the past couple of weeks as a result of general sentiment to the sector (particularly towards the Retail tenants) and this has caused some significant falls to share prices across the space.

BCPT is one of most well held property trusts in the market and whilst investors continue to be supportive of our long standing fund management team (and hold large amounts of the trust) they’ve taken an overall view of reducing property in the past 12 months due to continued broader market uncertainty because of Brexit etc.

There will come a point where the widened discount looks attractive (we’re already having meetings with investors who are analysing this) and we would hope the share price moves up from here. The continued uncertain market backdrop makes this hard to predict however. The whole Brexit uncertainty is creating a challenging backdrop across a lot of asset classes presently.

In terms of the Woodford situation this has not impacted BCPT. If anything this should reinforce the benefits of having an illiquid asset class such as property in a closed ended structure where it is not subject to potential gating and can be traded daily.

BKG is well run of that there is no dubt. I first bought in 2013 and gave held since then though moving them into as ISA wwhen I could. I was attracted by the company, the market and it its dividend policy. Share buy backs will, as you say help the share price in the long run, but I would rather have the cash so I can decide whether to reinvest or buy something else. I have no intention of selling but would like a better split between buy back and dividends.
ODEY has had that short for some time now and Liberum is still at 3400 and until Brexit is sorted and the London property market becomes normalised again who knows where this may go.

Indeed. The next results are due in September so we just sit and wait. At least I am above water in this one unlike most of my others. Have been contacting companies about their falling share prices and most - particularly London property ones - are quoting Brexit as a major cause of uncertainty. No surprise there and not relevant here unless OXB is tied up with the EuropeanMDDA and such like and likely to lose out if no deal happens? I dont think so but am not sure.

Todays statement reinforces the buy back over dividend policy which I too am not that happy about. Initial market reaction to the update was positive but I guess it is now focussing on the forecast drop in profits next year so down we go again. We are a long way from the heady days of £44.

This really is a very frustrating share and you can see why investors avoid it because of the large fluctuations for no apparant reason.

Some relatively large buys today though. This share certainly keeps you interested!

I appreciate your posts and don't consider them ramping. This is a grown up board compared to some where the ramping and deramping swamp any meaningful discussion. There are a couple of others that are worth being on such as OXB and FRES but I despair at the abuse and personal pettiness of a lot - partiicularly it would seem the small biotech and o&g ones.
Dont take it personally but I hope you dont have a chance to see £1 again!

This is not meant as a dig in any way but a genuine enquiry as you seem more on the inside of this business than I certainly am and I find your comments very helpful - indeed this board is much more civilised than some I am on - but in April you suggested we should stand back from this share and now you are suggesting we should hold. What has changed in the meantime? Is it the liklihood of a better settlement than anticipated with HMRC or are there other factors at play?

Would be very happy with 10p but even that is optimistic unless there is something coming down the pike we either cannot forsee or know nothing about. The bondholders hold all the cards and we can just wait. Not worth selling at current levels. Red or black.
