Subdued trading yesterday on the Madrid Bolsa (they were open on our Bank Holiday) and early today, lots of small trades. Price has dropped to an average of 0.155 euros (14p) to match our current price.
With Ramadan now over, the Omanis will become more active with their investments and likely to push for some progress, given the price of uranium has consolidated around the year's high and likely to go higher in the coming months.
Maybe the big buyer will return to snap up more on the SP weakness.

Update on the Spanish, Madrid Bolsa, market:
Moderate trade on Friday, yesterday and opening today with small falls amounting to a 10% fall from the highs of 0.19 euros.
There were no high volume single trades, so it looks like a bit of profit taking for the past month.
After a breather, once more news is leaked about progress on the permits I expect there will again be upward movement in the SP, the big buyers are still in the game.

Still nothing from Barclays Smart Investor, the notice still shows on my ISA .... "this product not eligible in an ISA account" ... ... and shows in the corporate action as share certificates awaiting issue by Canadian Registrar, dated 6th February 2020:

ISA/GIA Clients Investors’ holdings would be registered to a holding statement which would be posted to the address we hold on file for you. A holding statement is a representation of your shares which are held electronically at the Registrars. At the time of writing to you, we anticipated the sale & registration of the holdings would have taken approx. 12 weeks. We are sorry that this has not been the case. Portage Biotech share certificates were expected to be despatched on or around 15 January 2019. Unfortunately, Portage Biotech shares were subject to a restriction period which resulted in a delay in the certificate being issued. The certificate was not received until 4 June 2019. The Canadian Registrar has since requested we provide additional documentation in order to proceed with the re-registration of your holding into your own name. Since then Portage has been reinstated on the CSE since 16th April 2020 and they have been traded daily.
As of the moment, their share price has increased from around US9.5cents to US14.5cents, so whilst it is still rising on news of further investments & a new CFO, I am inclined to let them carry on increasing in value. If they are listed on the US main market they will surely go higher.
I will forgive Barclays for the debacle if the share value of Portage rises.

Have looked at some of Jim Mellon's latest utterings, apparently, SALV is in talks with another biotech company with views on bringing it to market as an RTO, but Covid-19 has impacted on progress. I also see that there has been lots of interest in his Juvenescence Ltd longevity of life venture ... could SALV be the vehicle to bring it to market?
With the focus on pharma & biotech companies, there will undoubtedly be lots of JV's, mergers & t/o's.

So, for the past 9 trading days, the turnover has gone through the roof compared to previously and the SP increased from 0.1357 euros to 0.1836 euros.
Looks like some pretty heavy stake building in Madrid and London.... there has to be news soon.

The Spanish are still piling into BKY on the Madrid Bolsa, with over 400 trades today since opening, with 9million shares for a turnover of 1.8m euros (£1.5m) ... top price paid is 0.196 euros (17.3p) with an average of 0.1866 euros (16.5p).
This coupled with yesterdays 2nd highest turnover (23.5m shares, highest 43m) and still strong today, bodes well for some imminent news.

As was noted, the big London buyer was back again late on Tuesday mopping up another 1.59m+ shares at around 17p ... he/she has now invested approx £775k+ for 4.96m+ shares (average of 16p) ... surely this will soon require an RNS if their holding goes over 3%.

Portage Biotech has appointed a new Chief Financial Officer, Mr Allan L. Shaw, who replaces Mr Kam Shah, who retires after 7 years service to the companies.

Mr Shaw has a wealth of experience with over 20 years in the pharma/biotech sector.

This clears the decks for the next stage of the burgeoning acquisition programme that Portage has undertaken.

Portage rose to US$0.13 (touched US$0.14) on the news.

Seems strange that the Madrid Bolsa is a stronger market than the London Stock Exchange for BKY... In Spain there have been thousands of trades today with a turnover of nearly 4million euros ?? for 20million shares, with 0.20 euros paid at the top (= 17.65p at current exchange rates)... As opposed to 9 trades in London for a volume of 83,300 shares and £13,750 in value... This amount of activity in Spain must be pointing to some imminent news.... Perhaps the big buyer will show his handbasin just before the close.

Madrid Bolsa... Now showing 14 million shares traded so far today at an average 0.1950 euros = 17.25p.....so plenty of interest in Spain.

With £53million in cash reserves, backing from the Saudi's and a whole host of granted permits awaiting final approval to mine for uranium in Spain, how can this only be worth circa £40m at current prices? At least £60m in my book, so SP should be around 22p.
Uranium is up nearly 40% on spot prices for 2020 and likely to go higher on world shortage of feedstock for nuclear power plants, the demand is increasing every day now that fossil fuels are in retreat.

Portage Biotech rose slightly on the CSE to US$0.12 (up 14.29%) today on news:
Portage makes an additional US$700,000 investment in subsidiary company Saugatuck therapeutics after achieving proof of concept for NLG, one of its cancer treatment drugs.
NLG technology, invented in the lab of Dr Tarek Fahmy at Yale University and commercially
developed by our joint venture partner, Immunova, allows different combinations of drugs to
be encapsulated in a single nanomedicine and delivered selectively to the tumour
microenvironment, thus potentially minimizing systemic side-effects. Saugatuck which has
acquired an exclusive license from Yale University via Immunova for use of the NLG platform
for delivering DNA aptamers and certain aptamer-based combination products. Immunova is
developing a pipeline of NLG drugs focused on cytokine and other immune-modulating drugs.

The Company intends to pay the dividend on 29 May 2020 to those shareholders on the register on 11 May 2020. The ex-dividend date will be 7 May 2020.

Latest Covid-19 cases reported today by Gulf News in Oman:
"The Omani Health Ministry, Monday 27th April 2020, announced 51 new cases of the novel coronavirus, bringing to 2,049 the country’s overall infections including 10 deaths.
The newly diagnosed cases are 37 Omanis and 14 foreigners, the ministry said without giving a nationality breakdown, according to Oman’s news agency ONA."
This is a small spike to previous figures announced, with minimal death ratios to date.
This should temper any major investments in the short term until the outlook improves.

Last price of US$0.104 on the OTC market on Friday 24th April so maybe CSE price will appear today.
With plenty of upside in the offing I am not in a hurry to have my shares sold by Barclays... they were up to 20 US Cents not so long ago, so you can see why.
