Following the same pattern of a year ago ....19 Sep 2020 09:56
Looking at the RNS's for this period in 2019, it shows Unaudited Interim Results (for 6 months to 30th June 2019) were published on 30th September 2019, causing a spike in the share price. Prior to this, on August 19th 2019, a TR1 was announced for a large investment that was made prior to the closed period for directors and insiders.
Looking at the trades for the past 2 days, a stake builder seems to be at work with an investment (so far) of around £40k for 2.5m shares, this could be to fill a larger order. For it to exceed the 3% disclosure rules £300k would need to be invested for around 17m shares, but the latest buying could be to increase the holding for and existing shareholder and if the accumulation is significant we can expect a Holdings RNS.
So, if someone knows the 6 months Interim Results for the period to 30th June 2020 are very favourable, they could be stocking up, knowing that the SP will spike further still on the notification and make a killing (not unusual for AIM).
