Ok so we have lots and lots of industrial land above fracking central ( well not quite bowland) & its obvious that Peel have let IGas in on their pitiful strips of land at Ellesmere and Barton. So Harworth have huge land banks over Coal mine methane and Coal bed resource. Drilling in Uk is well under way with many many companies and farm ins ( dart, Egdon, Cuadrilla, Igas, UJO, Alkane), also they are using many many experienced drilling companies from Canada/ Usa etc. Forget the measily Cutacre and all the other distribution hubs, when are we going to realise that we are sat on a FORTUNE ? ie Bassetlaw – with its large reserves of shale gas – will be near the top of the list to be carved up.

Interesting read on UJO today! they are farmed in **out shake it all about with Egdon EDR funny, they seem to be more interested in **, as they look to take interest in near producion wells. ( don't want to faff about with planning etc), is this the shape of things to come with Round 13 PEDL licences?? Eyes on IGaS for drilling success at Barton and Cheshire. as we got the licence potential **********as we know************** Alkane retains a full 100% interest in the majority of the PEDLs, which extend to all of the hydrocarbons recoverable from these licence areas. This includes any CMM, natural gas, coal bed methane and shale gas.

yo Bridgo watch whats going on over at PRG!! price driven down by a possible takeover /'placement' which I ve not fully got my head round yet. Hi Vera keep on truckin here.... the big lolly is in the Licences that are yet to be expolited... ( coal bed and Shale) Cmm ( Coal mine methane), is just cash pot for us, unlike most licence operators its not just a cash burning company........ I am hoping to double my holding here by 2014 if poss.....

Independent coal industry consultants Tesla-IMC International Ltd. have carried out a CBM resource evaluation and confirmed combined a ‘best case’ CBM gas-in-place resources of 403 billion ft3, with an upside in excess of 600 billion ft3. The South Lancashire coals around PEDL 191 are ranked as second only in gas content to the high-grade coal seams after South Wales. The CMB potential of PEDL 191 is already being proven in the adjacent block where the CBM powered electricity pilot project at Doe Green is the first such commercially viable operation in the UK and now reported will be fully developed in the near future. Neil O’Brien, Alkane’s CEO said; “In the U.S and Australia where shale gas and CBM are a key part of the dramatic growth in ‘unconventional resources’ and in the US alone now accounts for around 20% of domestic gas supply. There is no doubt that ‘unconventional gas’ which is largely unexplored in the UK, has the potential to become increasingly important to the U.K too, however, it is likely to require the specialist technical knowledge, operational experience and resources from established players from the US, Australia and elsewhere for the UK to catch up and fully develop its unconventional potential.”
