I worked for Centrica too until very recently for over 15 years.
The government have played havoc by targeting the Big6 over the years, despite small profit margins on gas/elec supply. I felt the business was VERY top heavy with management, and I think Conn’s strategy to cost save will pay big time going forward, shame it wasn’t done years ago. Not sure on the concentration of the connected home, I think amazon and the likes can perform in this area much better. I hope it does turn the SP around as myself and many of my colleagues are still heavily invested due to SIPS and sharesaves bought at much higher prices. Massive buys today after hours look good.

Mapp It’s all relative I suppose holding wise. I have 6.5million shares all in ISA’s including my kids ISAs. By far the largest amount of shares I have bought in one company. For a working class fella it is a big deal and RISK! A good SP here (over 2p) would not exactly be life changing but would make a BIG difference to the family over the next few years... Still praying....

Tonight.... Surely a golden opportunity for averaging down (or topping up). My thoughts are that it has gone quiet for a reason. A good reason. To be honest when we had several strings of positive RNS news recently the SP against everyone’s predictions actually went down anyway! I think the news will be built up and released in one mother of an RNS and 1p will be surpassed in 1 day.

Totally agree Cannyscott Zaza will be hurting more than most of us SP wise. But you are right he knows much more than is disclosed to us. So that is good enough for me not to loose any sleep. I just regret that I do not have further funds to reduce my 0.5 average down a bit further...

Ivy, I'd appreciate your honest thoughts from the meeting if you get to attend. I expected this share to be performing better by now but am in for the longer term anyway.

Fingers crossed for next week then. That will be a BIG part of the puzzle.

Does anyone think the earthquake with the nearby Epicentre of Grimsby may affect SP Monday? I wondered it it might make any planning decisions more tricky?
