How does s special dividend work. My CNA shares are currently outside my ISA and any divi would now see me paying tax. Would the news be announced giving me time to bed and isa before payment or is it instant?

Hopefully you’ve made the right decision with FRR. We are all praying a deal is being negotiated in the background, which is what I feel is happening, for the gas at least.

Cogs, only because I 1st bought in at 0.3p and was sat on a healthy profit very quickly at the 0.8p peak. Never sold a bean (unfortunately).

In fact my 1st few months on AIM went brilliantly. Fluked JOG at 69p, nearly sh€t myself when it went to 400p in a day!

Again never sold, could have sold both and be £30k better off, but again held, and watched it fall...

Bought more different shares and got spiked 3x. Now well down ☹️

FRR, is my largest holding and is critical for me to turn these losses around.

I think we will see an RNS tomorrow 7am. Gut feeling, I am still 90% sure this share price will come good.

I’d avaerage down, but I have insufficient funds spare to make a significant impact on my average. Unless I find 30k down the back of the sofa, or rob a bank! Lol

I agree, not selling anytime soon. I'm so glad I averaged down at 0.8p from my 2.1p Newmont punt. Av now 1.1p for 500k shares.
Also been in 88E since last Sept, which I think will recover nicely once people get over the fact it isn't only about Icewine...

Zaps, I think it is clear Puddy seems a decent guy and I highly value his insight into FRR.

No bad feelings from me, but I did think it was distasteful.

No doubt we’ll all be laughing and joking about it when we are all in profit. BUT now is NOT the time!

I agree, I have also been of the opinion that the gas will be the big SP mover and most likely of all thinks to attract a buyer or JV. I think this has been borne out by the current SP despite good oil results. I think if the gas is a no-goer then the oil will still be very plucrative, but will need ramping up time wise to get those wells drilled in multitude and compound growth of numbers.

Oh dear, shame to be wasting our time on this, we should be talking about FRR. I have made mistakes in the past. I have also made sincere apologies for them. It is probably what is required to move on from these shenanigans. Unlikely considering these guys think they have done nothing wrong. Personally, I think they have and it’s another kick in the balls for me along with the Current SP. I still believe in this company and will be holding all my shares whilst that is the case. GLA

When the people you look up to on here and put a bit of trust in to them start lurking around getting people’s hopes up. After all this is very serious stuff for some people. I have a significant holding here (for me anyway), and in kids JISA’s too. Well down here too...
