I suppose you could look at it like ‘how much is it going to ACTUALLY improve my life if I double my money from here?

It’s nice to help your immediate family out, but where do you stop if you are talking about supporting generations?

No easy answer… but where does it end & what’s the whole point of it. The easy bit is buying I find, much much harder to sell, particularly when you fall in love with a stock!

For a gold mining company producing 1 million ounces (oz) per year with a 30-year mine life and low All-In Sustaining Costs (AISC), a fair market cap in the current April 2026 market environment would likely range between $25 billion and $45 billion.

This valuation is driven by record-high gold spot prices—currently around $4,766 per oz—and the resulting massive cash flow margins.

This would be nice in say 5 years time, could easily become reality too I believe 👍

I’m still with GGP, had buys at 2.2p & sub 1p back in the day. But bought more in the 20p’s before it fell back slowly to 5p.

Overall approx 5 bagged on it now, excited for the future as the company is increasingly well run. I will hold out for Havieron to come on line, but will have to sell a few on the way to that point.

It hammered Home to me that the CEO’s are the most important criteria for me.

To those that remember the dreaded Xmas eve delist many moons ago, I share your pain…

Been here a few years since HAD005 drills and the much much wiser than me on here sharing what a significant find that was.

1st buys 2p, then sub 1p when it fell. Got talked into selling some at 2.2p by a SVS trader, which was a big mistake!

Then watched the price fly a couple of years later and foolishly never took any profits at the time…

I even bought more around the 24p, sure it would bounce back only to see it unbelievably fall to 5p over the months/years.

Again, thanks to the usual subjects on here, keeping my faith in the share. The sequence of events over the past year have been UNBELIEVABLE, as is the gold price. A PERFECT STORM!

Dealing with Prostate Cancer at 55 at the moment (GET CHECKED OUT FELLA’s), certainly puts health into perspective.

GGP will be the icing on top of my works pension and will take all the financial worry away from retiring early from a very well paid job (would be much easier to walk away from a poor job voluntarily).

It’s been nice a few colleagues and my son have bought into the GGP journey & have all now made decent paper returns.

I intend to sell small portions as the SP rises, probably start selling in spring, as don’t want to make the same mistake twice… Although GGP is a very different animal now & I feel it is VERY unlikely that anything will stop the GGP team now from taking this business to greatness.

Yep, another lucky GGP holder here too. Now that is how you run a company!

I bought FRR at the beginning of my AIM investing period, a complete disaster (not the only one, but the biggest disaster by far).

I tread a lot more cautiously nowadays. GGP has made up for all this bad previous decisions and count myself very lucky that I bought most sub 1p (I nearly didn’t).

If I had just stuck it all in a world tracker ETF I would have been miles better off by now (with considerable less stress!!!).

It wasn’t advice, it was just a comment.

The assets they own outright have tens billions of dollars of value and growing very quickly.

The key is they are already turning those gold/copper assets into hundreds of millions of dollars…

Please research GGP for the full picture. It is not a simple calculation as you suggest!

Short summary

GGP are now producing a lot of gold at all time gold prices. Amazing BOD. Secure funding facilities, really is a dream business story.

I love the multi bag potential with KOD, but carries much more risk!

What a dream business GGP has turned out as, all ducks definitely lined up with this one…
