The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Yes, FSHG have sent out the email I received it at 13:14 today.
All is not lost for us SH it seems...
Life in the old dog yet (and not the car chasing one!)
I must say this doesn’t sound good for SH. Seems like Zaza is trying to recoup some of his losses as a SH giving me the impression he thinks that he ain’t gonna get any back as a SH.
The light at the end of the tunnel diminishes further i feel...
STA 178% up now!
I’m just disappointed that it’s too late for the Xmas SP guessing game again!
Roll on December...
I was in both Ophir & RRE, did OK out of it.
Both were sold short though. RRE for example had lots of cash in the bank.
So glad I sold at 10p a few months ago (NOT!)
I would have been back to my original but in price now.
You live n learn....
Should be an additional catalyst here.
I will certainly be encouraging the company I work for to order the COVID killing masks when they go into production here.
Starting to get a warmer feeling inside, can only carry on hoping.
Have a great safe Xmas everyone...
Nice summary Mole
It’s not over yet (fortunately or unfortunately, whichever way you want to look at it!)
Thanks StarRage
I’ll try the forum.
Yes, but the question is what can I offset?
A. The value of the shares when they delisted?
B. The value I originally purchase them at (or when I bed and isa’d them previously)
Yes, was in ISA but kicked out after delist.
I’ve not been able to find the answer on the net, just wondered if someone might know, rather than calling HMRC or tax expert.
Can anyone confidently answer a capital gains tax question?
If you had £10k of FRR in a share ISA, then it delisted leading to the shares being thrown out of the ISA.
If FRR then went into administration, could you register a CGT loss of the £10k? Or would you not be able to claim any, as at the time I’d delisting you could say the shares were worth zero, so there is no loss.
I AM NOT SAYING THIS IS WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN! I’m just trying to look to balance potential losses against gains for this tax year.
In layman’s terms... WTF does all this mean?
