Speedie...I thought we were in a JV with NC though I suppose its just for exploration at the moment. Presumably you are hoping to find out if they are going to buy us out of HAV or at least the 30-25% if they take up the 5% offer. Good luck with the question. We are not miners so I can't see the point in NC of having sleeping partners but then what would the 30%-25% cost them in a buy out? 70% hasn't cost them that much! Having said that GGP's current near $1B value of which most is attributed to HAV is a lot of money even for NC.

Give it time. Price change usually lags behind. MM'S chasing stop losses at the moment.

I would also suggest playing a dummy portfolio for at least 6 months to a year before using your hard earned cash. I was also about £150k down and 2 years in before I started making money and to be honest Greatland alone has been the biggest boost to my portfolio. Fortunately I was in at the beginning with a significant number of shares.

Dodge...thats an interesting question and I would have thought that their increase in value means at this point in time their % holding in GGP would decrease though you have to take into account our rise in shareprice since their purchase. To maintain a % in GGP they would therefore have to increase the size of their purchase in December.
I don't know much about ETF's and Napthman appears to think not. I bow to his greater knowledge although it does seem strange. I do understand it also relates to more or less investment in the GDXJ. Is the 8% increase due to the increase in the value of the companies it holds in its portfolio or could it be greater investment in the GDXJ by holders? As I say I don't know much about ETF's.

I'll happily take 5.5% in one day. 5 X as much as you will get in a savings account for a whole year. Soon we will be paying the banks to look after our savings and forget the interest.

At least we won't have to listen to the nonsense that comes out of Trumps mouth. He's fighting to stop the count because he knows he doesn't have the protection of office once he's out and the 'Washington Swamp' as he calls it will be lining up to see him fall whether its tax evasion, business deals etc. I expect the media will totally turn against him. He will try anything to stop the count ASAP and i'm not surprised. Hopefully democracy and common sense will reign!!

I was surprised to say the least that scant mention was made about SW in todays end of year results and comment. Also the delay in results being communicated to the shareholders raises obvious questions. Given NC is advertising for 7 drill rig operators and it would make sense for NC to JV with GGP on SW then all the evidence is there pending an announcement. I also got the feeling that GH was saying that GGP would start to focus on some of the other tenements in terms of exploration. SW is possibly a signed and sealed JV on the same lines as Hav. Depends on what they have found to date regarding the % deal and cost for NC to buy in.

Volume low @ 8,381,771. It would make sense for NC to be in discussions with GGP regarding SW and a similar JV. Depends upon what they have found already. It would mean another 6 drill rigs given there is still a lot of drilling left to do at Hav.

21.93p.... nearly kept to sequence! Will get there this afternoon. Now just need the buys to rise above 22.50p which seems a sticking point but on low volume it doesn't surprise me.

Stout...I don't call 28m shares traded massive volume and there's certainly not massive buying going on unless it is a negotiated trade yet disclosed. If you look at the buying it is mainly small amounts...one even for less than £1.00. We need SW data to move this share on.

Someone put on this board the link to an interview on Sprott and his trading strategy. He said he looks for shares that receive good news in an RNS but are not moved in shareprice by the news. That's the time to buy he said, because the share will move in due course. He's invested heavily in GGP on the basis of this strategy and it appears to be working for him.

Elise... I would be amazed if the fundamentals have changed. The asset is potentially brilliant (Tier 1) unless we are told differently this evening. The job application details JungleJane put on this board earlier if accurate, says it all about our asset. Haverion is signed and sealed. I just want to know about the potential of Scallywag now.

If you look at total Volume declared it shows on LSE as 33,060,108 but if you add the sells and buys volume together you get 30,848,76 so I would suggest that the data is not accurate if for every buyer there is a seller and both are declared. Clear some are not and I would suggest that this data is total inaccurate for the purposes of our analysis. I'm more interested in what is going to be said this evening. In the absence of a RNS today we may be getting one tomorrow from both NC and GGP. Not sure they are ready to give us the MRE yet but hoping for positive +++ comment.

Everyonesawinner..... you could well be right but we will never know. The potential here is so good that I'm not worried about MM's shenanigans. That's just a market process. What really counts is the quality of the asset and the JV with NC. Not many AIM shares are in this position.

Remember that the MM's for part of the day were offering to buy over mid price . That would show as a buy when it could be a sell. Many on here remarked at the price they were being offered to sell. Don't believe the buy and sell data on here. It is calculated on a simplistic notion of being either above or below mid point.

They won't have dropped it purely because the markets are down.... not with this share and the potential rise coming. There will be a reason...there always is with the MM's. I would suggest there is a buyer as yet undisclosed with an order at a negotiated price. Equally, there could be a big seller in the background who does not have to disclose until the order is completed. A sale of 12m in the background could result in a 2-3% drop. I wouldn't worry either way. This share is de-risked with the most potential of any share I have purchased in the last 10 years and I have had a few good ones but not with a 1200% rise over such a short time. On Haverion alone this should reach 30p and if SW comes in as we hope then I see no reason why 40p plus cant be achieved if not more.
