Although the ephemera of the details here apparently change the fundamental tone of this forum is exactly the same as it was 15 months ago! Everything is imminent dates are bandied about just like last September was going to be "it".
The fundamentals have not changed. The sp stagnates or slowly drops as the erosion of confidence and costs/payment of salaries in shares and further dilutions take hold.
I say this as a reaction to all the hot air ramping on here and the rampers will no doubt tell me to f**k off because I no longer hold shares and should stop interfering by telling the unfortunate truth - and the whole lot goes merrily on. Would be buyers by all means do your own thing but don't believe or be influenced by ANYTHING on here - including me if you like. Work out just what this company and those who talk it up is and are.
", the decrease the SP and they will lose their own wages."
Really? Is that the deal? I was under the impression that they were getting paid an equivalent number of shares such that if the share price went up they would get less shares and if it went down they would get more! It is an important point which I am uncertain about but I definitely thought it was the latter. In any case every pay day is a dilution of one sort or another.
"jonnie1960 - why do you presume Kej has any inclination of how investors feel, he has never held one share in Solo."
I owned at one stage (considerably) over £100,000 worth of Solo shares. Not many by your standards BigD I am sure but "some". I would not like to think what they would be worth now! Hence the fact that you are saying that I have never held any puts me at an advantage to everyone else on here because I now KNOW you are a liar, everyone else has just my word for it.
All this "good" news and nothing hapens. Hardly surprising when you look at the facts. Dilutions and now ongoing dilutions every pay day and a company that has never - not once - delivered. A "no brainer" well that clearly has two meanings! However "good" the price is now the overwhelming likelihood if nothing happens is that next week it will be better still and so on. There is even less reason to buy here now.
"A mixture of placing shares and shares in lieu of pay."
As predicted - a dilution and a very bad continuing dilution - paying themselves in shares! It is basically taking value DIRECTLY from the shareholders each and every pay day!. The share price can do nothing but drop under these conditions until Solo proves itself. Not trumpets this or that but actually brings home the bacon. Hence the situation of the last 16 months or so continues - stagnation at best through the desperate, frightened of realising their massive losses, hanging on or sp drop due to the now ever present dilution and threat of further dilution.
Why buy now? The bacon is nowhere near "home" and there is no risk in missing the boat as it is not going anywhere! Whoever bought at 2.588p the other day please enlighten me as to what your logic was? The only way anyone could possibly make money here is through a speculation spike and the market does not want to be the fall guy on that one again! Nor does it need to be. Wait until the sp has been diluted away to nothing and then try and catch the moment someone comes in and buys all your shares for nothing and then long term shareholders will have no option but to sell for zilch. Scaremongering? Well for 16 months the story has been born out pretty well and if the current timescales of years rather than weeks are anything to go by then good luck!
bigdouble - you are most certainly wrong and you know it. I both heavily invested in and lost in Solo. If I had not grasped the nettle however I would have lost vastly more. Since my selling of shares I have kept a close eye on Solo as the share price has done exactly what I said it would after you and the other rampers here disastrous backing of the board to do whatever they liked at the agm last year. That was the last straw but I have always thought that I might "get back in" and recoup my losses. However over the last 15 months I have come to realise that what I have been saying has actually turned out to be an accurate analysis and there seems to be nothing to change it yet. Solo is the company that keeps on taking and the only way to make money out of it as an investor is on spikes - where the vast majority become the victims and a few take their money good and proper. Trouble is the market it wise to that so what is left?
The only thing people want here is a speculation spike so that the rampers can fleece a whole new set of naïve punters and the desperate lot who got fleeced last time can get out with a slightly lesser loss than they are holding now. Then crash and the cycle begins again! What you cannot understand is why I have stayed around to point this out to the unsuspecting on this forum. The truth is I keep deciding to clear off but I cannot help reacting to outrageous ramping. Today people are talking about a share price of 25p! Would be investors - by all means throw your cash at this if you want it is your money! However if these people had any belief that what they are saying is true they would be selling their shirts to throw at Solo. The truth is the market is wise to their ramping and understands it does not need to do anything here yet or at all. Let them create their own speculation spike! Why should you fund it for them to fleece you? You see that is how it works be careful of AIM in general and of Solo in particular. Alll in my humble opinion of course (for Leadham's benefit).
Oh and by the way BigD I do have other investments but amazingly their forums have about three messages posted a year and I have never felt the need to contribute in the slightest.
Leadham - I do apologise and state quite clearly IMHO to all I have posted over the last 18 months - however it has turned out to be absolutely correct and that is not my opinion that is FACT - check my posts I have not deviated because Solo has not changed.
This sp has stagnated or slowly dropped for 18 months as predicted - I am no fortune teller either but it appeared obvious to me that a company that is consistently failing to do what it is supposed to do will lose value as it constantly needs further money in the form of loans and dilution to keep paying its directors for doing Jack S*** and keep whatever operations it does have running. In addition throw in a few unnecessary purchases and you do not need a crystal ball to work out that the market has grown wise to it and its spike inducing rampers. Hence IMHO the same situation is in place now - stagnation or a slow drop in sp with countless desperate shareholders hoping for a spike and a few rampers who have made fortunes out of those desperate shareholders thrown in for good measure. All in my humble opinion. Work it out for yourselves would be investors!
Another dilution - sounds familiar? What happened to the loan money where has that gone? There is no evidence whatsoever that the process of dilution/debt to pay salaries and running costs will end any time soon. Things that were at one time apparently weeks away are now years away.
Different driver but it is the same old broken down no fuel in it car. The fact that he may (or may not) have a better sense of direction than Ritson is academic. I have tried to think why anyone would buy in now - today - and cannot find a rational reason other than having a speculative throw away "bet". It seems inevitable that the sp will drop initially to the placing value and then continue and that the only reason it is stagnating now (with all this so called good news) is that the shareholders left are a battle hardened bunch or just so desperate that they cling on because they feel they have already lost so much as to be pointless selling. Hence what has changed? Stagnation or slow sp drop - the same as the last 18 months.
Given the strange sp price here today the sale worth over 51 thousand pounds at 2.303p is the only one that makes sense given that a placing has been announced at 2.25p! It also dwarfs every thing else here put together!
The truth hurts fjones and that's a fact. It is the truth of the situation that you don't want to hear about. You simply want others to fund a speculation spike so you can get out and then down it goes again and away the rampers go again. I react here to outrageous ramping. If that stops so do I.
ok which one of you managed to get 11 grand at 2.48p? Talk about Dick Turpin! Still some people have money to throw around. I would strongly suggest whoever bought at that price is new to Solo. They will soon learn "the ways" here. A great fleece for the seller though I have to admit.
Cperkin - So what you went to see the board? What good did it do? You f*cked up 12 months ago giving them complete freedom and telling everyone who did not want to do that to sell up and go away. The reason you and others did that is because you want a spike rather than a viable company. Now you want a viable company because no one is buying!
My sin and the reason you insist on calling me mad is that I sold (at over twice the price the share price is today - and you say I am mad!) and have NOT gone away but have highlighted your ramping spike inducing methods which is exactly how you have done very well out of Solo on the last major spike. There is NOT ONE single person here who is holding who does not want a speculation spike - I am not that mad I would want one! You all want it. The ramp rinse repeaters want it to fleece newbies and to no doubt buy themselves another villa with the takings and those who got fleeced last time want it to try and escape with a little bit less of a loss.
My "madness" is that I spend a few minutes every other day pointing this fact out much to your annoyance. Eventually this share price will get so low (a while yet though) that someone is going to come in and get the lot for a song. Maybe just maybe at that point there will be a profit to be made. Otherwise your asking people to buy into a sinking ship. Put your own money in Perks! You push the bloody price up! If you have not got any more to put in ask yourself why.
You have been wrong for 18 months cperkin! You could not care less about the viability of Solo, if you did you would not have voted all those resolutions thru last year. You want a speculation spike like what has happened twice before and you have admitted to this in the past. The market is wise to your tempting. Tough.
A new broom may sweep clean but it tends to also find the dirt. Why the hell would anyone jump in here now? It is the same clapped out old banger but with a different driver and one that has a record of not staying in a car very long. People can argue it is good news or not but that is baloney what counts is cash in the bank from an "improved" asset and the amount of time that has gone by it needs to be really improved. How near is that? It is as far away as ever it seems. Give it a while and the dilution begging bowl will be out and this time it might be a necessity. When the dust settles. However you need to do what you think best. Pile in! Plenty here will take your money.
I like to both expose and annoy charlatans. Is that simple enough for you bigd? Are you annoyed?
News news and more news and the sp does nothing. Why should it! The real news is that sooner rather than later the dilution bowl will be back out and no doubt with it the promise of untold riches - just around the corner. 15 months ago Ritson's departure would have probably been the green light for me to like in. Now? Ha ha ha ha! Oh we will wait and see. The problems don't disappear just because Ritson might.
Work the news as much as you can lads, you will need to. Cash via an improved asset is what Solo is supposed to do. Unfortunately every extra day it takes costs money it has not got.Hence it has to constantly borrow against itself.
I have done pretty well out of my investing thanks reaction. In this big bad world as well.
It is interesting to note that when I have pointed out (many times) that the vast majority of people commenting here are doing so to try and create a speculation spike rather than describing a working company and that it is therefore dangerous to invest as it is likely they will get fleeced on an otherwise falling and unsustainable stock I have NEVER been told that is not the case. Instead I get personally attacked for having the audacity to point out what is going on or it is taken as a sign that even more ramping details need to be given. After all my posts nobody ever says "no we don't want a spike we actually want a proper working company". Why? Because no one would believe you! I would be desperate for a spike in order to get out. The last thing you want is someone explaining that this share price will keep dropping until Solo actually proves itself and that to do so it will continue to dilute! When does it end reaction? Next week? Month? Year? Ever? I am quite content here and happy to shut up and go away for ever - but I react to ramping. If this is all going to happen soon let's all shut up and see. Fat chance as it is getting desperate times for some.
Oh no bigdouble I made my own mind up when I bought and when I sold. Some people have done everything they can to create spikes here in order to make lots of money for themselves regardless of whether the company can actually ever operate as a proper business. People who buy in on all the details are, in their opinion, perfect cannon fodder to push the sp up to a tidy profit before it is brought back down again. That is trading "so what" I hear you ask. Well that is pretty sad and if you don't like me pointing out the potential pitfalls here I suggest you go ramping somewhere else. I am quite sure this is not your only ramping place perhaps I should check your other posts out. I might post on other forums then.
Absolutely bigd - I hold you and a couple of others here at least partially responsible for this abomination. If you want me to explain why JUST ASK!
Rampers not dampers! Dampers would be a fine thing here hey?
Comfy1965 - I could not agree more with you. When the dampers stop I will stop reacting. Do your own thing everyone and for God's sake don't research by reading this forum.
