Sounds like you have a short to talk down.

There has been such awful speculation for months about what may or may not be in the budget, articles regurgitating other articles and guesswork built on rumours mixed with political mud throwing that the question is when the budget does happen will the "bad news" not already be "built in" to the market/this share price? Of course people will try and talk it down after but that is not the same as speculation before.

The thing is if the message is bad but true you attack the messenger. I was once the pantomime villain here who the deceivers booed and painted as someone with other motives. Sadly I had no other motives, I genuinely just did not like to see some people (and cperkin was the greatest) blatantly ramping with less than justification, rather complete fabrication to sucker some people into a speculation ramp. Even now I expect to get flak when I ponly post on here about 3 or 4 times a year max and always say the same thing which is always shown to be correct!

Well I am an idiot for replying but for fjones40 and ArielArrow (such familiar OLD names here hey) if you read my last post you will see you have, more eloquently than I ever could, exactly proved the point I was making! Namely to "have a go" somehow at the messenger rather than the message, so thanks to the pair of you! Cheerio.....

Yes I do tend to only post on this site for Scirocco and its previous name Solo. If you go back a very long time I did also post on a few other companies including Ithaca should anyone remember them. I do not hold many investments and the others I have, whilst nothing spectacular, have never given rise for me to make any comments good or bad. The thing about Scirocco is that I have had every kind of email thrown at me over the years, I really cannot list them all but "always posting negative and for just this company" has been used many times. What has never been used, really never properly used in many years of posting, is a good rational argument to actually contradict anything that I have ever said. The message was rarely directly questioned (as it appeared self evidently correct) but the messenger often was.

My synopsis of the debacle here is that some people will keep getting paid nicely and so they just carry on thanks very much. Some investors here still see the chance of fleecing some unsuspecting newbie on a short term ramp (you know who you are) and no doubt some more recent people still cling onto the vain hope that they have not bought into a dead duck and that I am just trying to short this.... A very familiar accusation often thrown at me, that is why I don't post here day after day but rather just turn up like the bad penny every few months, year after year it seems, just to see if anything different has happened - so far it has not and I am talking about a (VERY) long time now.

Hello old timers here, popped back just to see everything is just he same. Which it is! Some people are earning well at out this (everlasting) debacle, talk about bleeding it to death. Shareholders here who are new I pity, older ones I despair for and those still trying to ramp this I deplore. I may pop by in a few months if this is still listed. Good luck (really) all.

Well I thought I would pop back here after a couple of months and yet again even after a futile name change it is the same never ever changing story here.

See you in a month or three to repeat what has been repeated for what 4 years at least and probably many more than that. Also it is incomprehensible that it is the same people here saying essentially the same things again and again. Trying to work the same trick.

..... and it is the same as ever, with more or less the same comments from the same people as over the last 3 years+.

I could have said the same about those invested in Solo for the last three years and would have been totally vindicated in doing so, given the abuse I have taken on here for stating the obvious, but to be honest I don't consider myself that low. Whilst I have said for over three years that Solo would stagnate and slowly drop and for three years been proved right I genuinely felt for the delusional or simply deluded "folk" on here - however much stick I was given. I too thought I could make a quick buck on a speculation spike in October and got trapped by the suspension - well I got what I deserved.

Perhaps I have been far too empathetic fjones40 perhaps you too have got what you deserve - "enjoy your karma".

Yawn..... Get your pennies out then oppO3ite. In old money or the proper sp the bid is now 0.03p! That is over 33 shares a penny! The same arguments have been given all the way down and the sp just keeps getting to be a better bargain! However many this can "bag" just wait a week/month/year and it will be an even better bargain! I have posted an almost exact copy of this every few months for the last three years! How many times does the obvious need to be verified? This sp may have a small correction due to the wider market conditions but the underlying situation is the same. Stagnate and slow drop until assets get whipped for a song.

Still no list posted I see - go on it would be a laugh!

To reiterate for those who are hard of thinking I admit I made a mistake buying into Solo again but I have given my reasoning which no one has ever argued against. At the start of last October Solo was for the first time in ages showing a genuine speculation spike forming and even I was convinced it would have a good run - it was stopped in its tracks by the suspension and the rest is history. Once that suspension happened and the spike stopped everything changed and even though I had only just bought back in and was desperately hoping like the rest of you that Solo would actually do something positive for once I could not see it happening before Christmas if at all. I gambled on a short term speculation which means I got what I deserved. My big loss here (but it could have been oh so much bigger than it was) was on a long term investment and the conditions and situation with regards to that debacle are still very much the same.

As for those who think a buy out at say double (maybe even treble) a deflated sp cannot happen just think about it! Anyone buying in late will sell you down the river, there are companies that have entire businesses on making as little as 2 or 3% enabling such deals (I forget what they are called) these vultures may be circling now. Also without going into details, as someone will get this post took off, there's more than one way to skin a cat! For everyone's information I am still invested here as I think there is genuinely additional pressures being put on the share price due to everything else going off - that is not to say you can put all the blame on it or even most of the blame but there may be a little. The partial deposit coming back - does that mean anything except the BOD gets paid a little bit longer.

By Christmas we were supposed to be at what price? Where is the list? I could do with a laugh! I admit I was hopelessly optimistic when I changed my sub penny prediction to 1.25p but I seem to think I was closer than the vast majority on here. Please post the list and my comments saying we would probably not even be being traded by Christmas and then everyone will understand why I get annoyed for being crucified on here for saying things as they are for the last three years.

Stagnate and slow sp drop as the gravy train rumbles on and then assets get whipped away for a song at the death. Anyone buying in at this price or less would jump at selling the company for a quick buck and then the long term holders would be completely sold down the river. With the various worldwide issues and oil price drop this might well be close to "whipping" time!
