What do you mean "priced in"? Share price? We don't even have a price! I am not being deliberately obtuse I just don't know what you mean!

Why do you reckon that? I certainly hope we get news today but I don't know why you "reckon" what you do. I mean all the evidence of the last three years - old bod and new - points to absolutely sweet FA happening - and we'd have to wait for that!

Wait.... Same story now for many years - in different guises, of course, but essentially the same. Wait, wait just a little bit longer. We are now waiting in order to be told how long we have to wait until we can get back waiting for what we originally were waiting for. What annoys me is that this was looking like it was going to spike and now we are in whatever the waiting area is called before you can get into limbo!

I am SURE the bod will have a great Christmas and New Year. I hope the long suffering shareholders here do as well.

This is a stock which should be on a market. Mid q4 is long gone. I genuinely hope my suspicious feelings are unfounded with this situation. However it is beyond "not good enough" to have continued silence. As I said three days after this was suspended, when everyone was "guessing" silly numbers, it is not the price we need to worry about but when we get this thing out of suspension and in what format/state it will be in then.

Babelfish66 - if I was not clear than I do apologise. However "when" this opens should really be "if" this opens. This is certainly not mid q4 and without any feedback from the bod we must assume that something has put the timings completely out. Also without any explanation in this case no news cannot be considered good news. Hence your comment of selling on open is perverse as if this had opened or we had been given an idea as to when it was going to open people might not have been complaining. It is like waiting for a train that is overdue with no one kept informed as to why it is overdue and having someone say to you "well if you don't like it when the train eventually and unexpectedly arrives then don't get on!" I realise things take time but this situation is different in that trading is suspended. It is not a simple case of patience anymore. Also the clock is ticking away towards 6 months suspended - you might think that is ages off but I think it is only twice as long away as we have already been suspended and in Solo terms that is a blink of an eye.

Then block me jacktrade - it is very easy and will only take up a couple of your precious seconds and then you'll never read me again.

However those who have read me over the last three years and acted upon it are, in general, far better off than those who ignored me but that was then this is now. Best wishes and if this is the last thing you ever read from me then good luck in all your investments

I did read it Babelfish and that is why I asked you the question "Please explain how anyone can sell up at the moment?"

I don't think I can make this any easier unless English is not your first language of course in which case just say and I will try and translate it for you. I am being serious I normally sell on a market and that is how I would want to do so now. So please (lets try again slightly reworcded and in big capitals so you dont get distracted) HOW CAN ANYONE SELL NOW?

Well two months have flown by whilst Solo has been suspended. Now remember nobody ever mention mid q4 again (unless it is 2020)! It can go the way of all the other "transformational dates" - I think my favourite was November 2017 that was banged on about enthusiastically for ages until December 2017 and then never mentioned again. The only difference is this is a suspension. Two months gone in the blink of an eye it seems. What happens in another 4?

Absolutely good point Normalguy. Certain people who now "much prefer the new lot" spent many a year singing the praises and backing to the hilt the old lot. Which rather makes their opinion, which for some reason seems valued on here, pretty much worthless. Personally the proof of the pudding is in the eating and with both the old and new lot we have never even come close to seeing a pudding never mind eating it.

What is definite in all of this however, Cperkin, is that if this gets to six month suspended then we will leave limbo and enter an even lower circle of hell! Now six months is a long time but, well, it is already eroded down to just over 4 months hasn't it? Seemingly in the blink of an eye.

Also creamsoda it is a very unfortunate thing that every time I summarise what has actually happened and suggest what it could easily mean it seems to be taken as "moaning". That is simply your perception on my summing up, you need to have a more positive outlook! If you really want to hear "moaning" I could quickly type out a few pages of Solos past and present troubles and misdemeanours and describe its subsequent ever descending share price - but believe me it would not go down well!

Bigdouble - even though posting individual correspondence is not allowed on this forum (as there is no way of verifying it) I admit to being thankful of some sort of feedback. So thank you for your contact.

Zebbo - A lot of us are not producing "widgets" and have complex timelines however when that is the case you need to be circumspect with giving out deadlines or even indicators of timings as when those timings are missed it shows that you have either overstated your own abilities or understated the problems you face and both do not reflect well professionally - occasionally this is inevitable and must be forgiven but when it is commonplace in every single thing a company does then it becomes both wearisome and suspicious. The situation with Solo both old and new bod is that this has always been the case. It is not a lack of patience it is more a fatigue of their credibility. The old bod credibility eventually cracked and now? As ever we wait - but this is different as we wait whilst suspended. We are already nearly two months suspended...

ArielArrow - I am not portraying it as the "Nightmare before Christmas" but at the moment I would take that I mean "before Christmas"! Please!

Whilst I agree the documents "could" drop at any time I cannot understand your comment, steve58, of below;

What possible reason have you for saying this rather than any other date? Is it because it is "Christmas"? Ahh bless! Cue the music!.... This is not "A Wonderful Life" you know! They said Mid q4 announcement. The share is suspended! They need to get the details out or tell us why it is delayed! I mean this is only the first thing in a LIST of things we now need to wait for (yes that's our Christmas List!)... But the difference is now this is suspended there is a real, proper, immovable deadline to getting back trading.

Just read an article suggesting Solo Oil was tipped to treble - then I noticed the date! It was from December 15th 2016! Nothing changes! But I know "that was the old BOD these are all new … bla bla bla" - big pop. The only thing everyone says now is what they said then - WAIT! Clocks ticking now though, cannot be suspended for ever that is not how it works! Remember don't mention "mid q4" just like all the other dates that must be cleansed from your memory. To make it easier for you just cut, edit and repost the following "Come {insert any month/year here} and things will be different - you'll see"

This is now NOT mid- q4. We are now waiting to find out how long we have to wait again before we can get back to what we were originally waiting for - and that was bandied about as a mere formality years ago. "But that was the old bod etc etc etc...…"

Your deep understanding of investing is somewhat flawed though. Even though you have a "system" which can give very good results (on occasions) you are essentially describing a watered down Martingale scheme. If whatever you are investing in eventually comes good then you are ok, if it eventually does nothing or you run out of money you will lose spectacularly. Ultimately you cannot keep averaging down and not being afraid to lose - at some point the money runs out or the value becomes so disappearingly small. Many people on Solo have been here for so long (many years) and heard this type of stuff for so long that they will not or simply cannot average down any further. Also I strongly suggest that investing in a single AIM company should not really be advocated as "treat it like a savings account" - err what?!

What is there to say here except to ask "when will this thing be traded again" or maybe "when will anything actually happen here"?
For once when the Solo board says something it would be nice if they simply delivered without there being need to argue on points. Hence "Mid-November" well the 15th has come and gone so now we can argue what "Mid" means just like all the other times that have come and gone. It might happen Monday or Tuesday or the week/month/quarter after and no doubt everyone will start spouting patience. However it would be really very pleasant if Solo just did what it said bang on time every now and then or perhaps even just once. I will be far happier when this is traded (in whatever form) again regardless of all other considerations/hopes/expectations/fears or fantasies! Until that point we are all in complete limbo.

As a solo investor I want the "license drop" as soon as possible regardless of whether Solo or whatever it will be called is listed or not AND I want it listed as soon as possible as well! Solo has a very long and well deserved bad reputation of never achieving anything in any time like reasonable. It also essentially has a history of simply never delivering so never mind the niceties of when it would be best. Yesterday or maybe a year ago would have been best for the license to drop! The problem with Solo is that it constantly puts itself into positions where it is held over a barrel by third parties. Again and again. As far as building things goes yes it might mean something is happening or it might mean that they can give the impression that something is "about" to happen - the difference in interpretation of these two possibilities represent the fundamental arguments that go off on this forum between the rampers and the rest. To reiterate both the license and the listing cannot come soon enough for me.
