Comment was, that a friend had a presentation at work around VR and EVR worked with Sky and EE on the 5G football ad. Maybe nothing, could be something?

Partnership with EE for 5g will most likely be announced soon and rumour has it, Melody were behind the FA cup ad...

By the way, I am sure none of you have noticed but Melody VR IS available on the Quest. Via YouTubes app. Which I have take the time to navigate Oculus software via my iPhone (wonder how many have you done that?)True it’s only introductions and previews but as older content is replaced by newer, I can definitely see how this will be used and ‘free’ content transferred from the Melody app with adverts I am sure is profitable. The same way a movie moves from cinema, to Sky/Netflix Blue-ray, to available to watch.There is a distinct lack of imagination.Read the article published yesterday, which alludes to how the money has been spent - equipment, buying in specialist engineers etc. This is investment in people, tech and equipment.To paraphrase Don Draper in Mad Men ‘either Jesus is in your heart or he is not’. My comment (IMO) isn’t share price related per say, but around the hardware. The price dropped last year around the lack of functionality within a mobile app to watch concerts etc –the market missed the point. What I think has been missed is there is a slow down in new/replacement phones. As todays BBC article mentioned… https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-47610938 ... one black object is the same as the next – no one has seen the change behind the screen regarding processing power etc…and there could be a step back or a desire to use our smartphones less. A point made was a cost of new smartphone is around $700-1000!!!

With VR tech, such as Oculus. It is new tech, it’s a novelty and it’s immersive – people do like to get lost in something…a play, a book, a film or a phone. This is something different. (stating the obvious) – people have now the chance to be in it… and it now costs $400 ish for a Quest – less than a new smartphone.

So, where is this going?? 4p is very cheap for a company who has got the right people, the right tech, the right agreements etc…

Interesting article. Although a few months old. I think this years hardware releases are the game changer for full adoption where there isn’t the reliance on a PC to power the software for VR.
Evrh/Melody VRs offering is unquestionably unique. If we can separate the share price out, an look towards updates on social media you can see that something is building up. It’s likely they’re contractually tied into Facebook/Oculus but, so be it. I hear through connections both in venue lighting the Directors are serious people. You can see bybthe historic RNS that this the case as well. Sorry that no one can look beyond the 4p price.
