Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
This board is entering the realms of fantasy now.
YES, an update is overdue, but people talking about the BOD not working etc etc. is complete gibberish.
I'd only be happy with a full sale if it was at a price that fairly valued phase 1, phase 2 and exploration potential.
that would need to be many many multiples of today's price.
Fair enough, it's my bank account and not yours so it should only matter to me.
Kylie, a question for you.
Two possibilities here.
1: this works out I will walk away with a very decent profit
2: this doesn’t work out and I walk away with a loss that doesn’t impact my life.
What do you do in each of those 2 situations?
The really funny thing is you and others are trying to say Graham isn't up to the job, yet it's funny how many companies want to pay him to do the job 😊
I am happy with the way he has ticked off the required jobs to date.
I am not happy with the lack of updates since the start of the year.
Are a definite retrograde step. Previously Sarah did pass on questions to Graham and he did answer as well as he could withing the rules.
I was never given any price sensitive information, but his replies (via Sarah) did give a flavour of things.
The new approach with comms apparently outsourced to Flagstaff doesn’t work for me.
Admittedly they do reply quickly, but I suspect the questions never reach Graham’s desk. The replies are only ever ‘news will be given via RNS’
Not a lot of use when the question was ‘why no RNS?’
Not that anyone would care what some anonymous nutter writes on here, but it does show the level of desperation that has crept in as news gets close.
Have a lovely weekend all.
Guessing sp on AIM is a mugs game, SP always over reacts both up and down.
suffice it to say I expect to make a very decent return 😊 so will say I expect the SP to be far north of where we are now!
Certainly looks a little livelier than of late today.
"when will ejeets realise that there 2 billion shares out there"
probably about the same time ejeets realise that was an uncrossing trade 😊
Yawn
😊
Kylie, what made you think I was talking about you?
But, if the cap fits ….
😊
I'm more shocked that someone who has no financial interest in Sound spent their weekend posting on here!
that's a very sad life.
personally, I had a lovely weekend in Cornwall surfing and watching rugby
I'm sure he'll say he's been posting for damn nearly 12 hours today just to get clarification with no expectation of making a penny whichever way this goes! yeah, right 😊
Suppose that's one way to get your posts recommended 😊
Anyone else feel an RNS inbound?
By the way, I never bought anywhere near £1, although I can tell a few who post on here did 😊
Nor did I invest my pension or sell property to buy sound shares like some other idiots.
I have invested money I can lose with NO IMPACT on my life. Suggest others always do the same.
it should be obvious, but clearly wasn't to some.
Wolfie dear, I’m quite touched you chose to spend you Sunday evening coming on here and posting about me, I feel quite honoured 😊
For the record, I have not lost a penny on Sound. How do I know? Because I haven’t sold a single share in Sound, ever! Have I been buying over the last year or so? Yes, absolutely, although not for a month or so. Am I in profit right now? No. Do I expect to be I profit soon? Yes. If I didn’t think so I wouldn’t be still invested and I certainly wouldn’t be posting on here 😊
I suspect the delays are because all the bits are intertwined.
So, the bank won’t lend unless there’s a partner to bring their exposure down to 65%.
Calvalley probably won’t sign until they know the rest of the financing is secured.
The bank also won’t lend until the GSA is updated and signed.
This is dependent on Moroccan governmental approval.
The FID can’t happen until all this is in place.
This is not a Catch22, but a careful juggling act. I for one believe the BOD are doing well.
Everything they say they will do, they do, albeit often delayed.
My view is that a lot of these delays are out of the hands of Sound. The main one being getting time in a busy governmental schedule.
Obviously this view won’t suit the agendas of the bashers, buy heh ho, we’ll find out soon enough.
If I’m right, I’ll make money and move on.
If I’m wrong I’ll lose money and move on.
Also, I did point out that an official update was overdue, but take by the reply that they expect to avoid the need for an update on delay by simply getting the news out very soon. This was implied, not said before anyone moans.
I have mailed Sopund (Sarah) twice since the New Year.
both times I have received replies from Tim Thompson and lately had confirmation he has taken over shareholder comms from Sarah for the moment.
I did not ask why as none of my business.
However, I was satisfied and fwiw encouraged by the replies. All is progressing and at final stages on a number of matters.
