Mms just trying to generate some volume on a low volume day.
Eric,
I'm working on the basis that after all these delays and silence since before Christmas that only a fool would organise a shareholder presentation for next week unless they were certain to have news before then.
if no news is expected why would they not simply continue the silence?
Obviously I meant £5K of sells
We are at this low sp because of delays.
the market hates delays.
also, the AT trades have a large impact. Today's drop in sp is based on £5 of sells - wow must be a complete sell off.
to answer your question - it's working fine for me. I'm not a trader, I've invested for the long term.
yeas I have unrealised losses, but the pertinent word is unrealised!
You however realised YOUR losses and the fact that you keep on posting says a great deal about your personality and the fact that you don't take responsibility for YOUR mistakes.
I repeat, if, and it's a HUGE IF, this went t!ts up I would absorbe the loss with NO impact on my life and I would never post on this board again as I would not think about Sound ever again.
I suggest you try that approach, your life might improve a little.
Thought you'd pop up now.
ffs get a life.
the anger in your posts is palpable. A man of your age needs to watch his blood pressure.
the sp today doesn't matter to me as I'm not selling.
why does it matter to you?
Clearly a message - we're still doing business.
remember the Calvalley deal includes them paying back costs.
some posters on ehre would have you believe that sound a broke. well (no pun intended) who would supply 5km of pipe and other equipment if they weren't being paid?
Calvalley deal RNS first, then GSA, then BBank finance then FID .....
Odd, if you believed some people (person?) on here you would believe sound was dead in the water and doing nothing.
doesn't look like it to me.
roll on the news some of us want.
Eric - boring as it sounds, I think dealing with government officials in the third world just takes a very very long time.
Occam’s razor tells us to only make as many assumptions as absolutely necessary / look for the simplest explanation.
The simplest explanation requiring very few assumptions is that a complex intertwined negotiation with large partners and government officials in a third world country, which involves a large amount of money and multiple conditions to be met, simply takes far longer than certainly I would have guessed.
The lack of RNS that you take to be bad news I take to mean we are close.
But, either way, we will find out soon.
Eric - there are a lot of wild assumptions in there.
if it wasn't happenong they would HAVE to tell us via RNS as soon as they knew - fact.
they haven't, ergo it's currently still happening - fact.
they can't disclose that sort of information, or any other price sensitive information via a shareholder presentation - fact.
I stand by my view that until told otherwise things are progressing as we have been told, albeit very slowly.
About tech.
"The IP address of all posts is recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions."
was that copied from an 1990's guide from back when everyone had static ips?
ffs, have they heard about vps? have they heard about dynamically allocated random ips?
I can guarantee no two of my posts have the same ip address. today my ip happens to be from N.Ireland, yesterday USA, day before Hong Kong (from memory).
that asside, you as always missed my point.
I never said it was against the rules to post if you didn't own shares.
I DID say it was utter madness to be so obsessed with a share you don't own!
there's a difference.
Sorry as always for typos, life's too short to waste time .... for me anyway.
Kylie et al. sitting at their keyboard every morning at 7am praying their is no possitive RNS.
and all for a company they have absolutely NO financial interest in.
Oh, you're one of the last remaining 'efficient market' believers.
Graham was debunked decades ago!
Seriously?
you actually think people buying exisitng shares makes the company money?
think you might need to think again, or for the first time perhaps.
Eric -
a reply ' When I have asked about this I get the response that please read current RNSs and any further information will be released by RNS.'
tells me they are saying nothing has changed since the last RNS and when it does we will RNS it.
Any price sensitive information must be RNSd as soon as it's known.
This includes any change in status of announced activity.
As we have had no RNS’s updates it means the status has not changed.
That is, despite what some would like us to believe, the Calvalley deal, the bank financing, the GDSA re working etc etc. ARE all still progressing as we have been told. (admittedly at a glacial pace).
Sound can not and will not announce any price sensitive information at a shareholder presentation which by it’s very nature does not inform all shareholders at the same time. (many don’t attend).
Logic would imply that after the long silence since the end of the year Sound would not break their silence unless they had something significant to say.
Personally I liked the reference to ‘potential investors’ in the RNS.
Consequently I think we will receive one or more significant RNS between now and the 15th.
Do I know what will be released? No. the simplest answer would be ‘the news we’re waiting for’, Calvalley, Bank, GSA, FID etc.
I guess it could be a sale, but I would imagine any approach would need to be RNSd as it happened.
So, my assumption is one or more or all of the things we are waiting on a very very close and will be announced as soon as the ink is dry on the documents. Think like when you buy a house, you get told say on Monday you will exchange Wednesday, but until it happens it isn’t official.
We simply don't know.
It would seem highly unlikely that they would anounce a meeting for shareholders and pottential shareholders if there wasn't something expected to be ready to announce before then, especially after this long wait.
interesting to see 'potential shareholders' mentioned, not seen the wording before.
I'd wait til tomorrow, a birdy tells me Graham is travelling and back tomorrow
Eric - sorry, my post was aimed at the general way the board has drifted lately.
implications the BOD are not actually working, company about to fold etc etc.
which suits one person’s agenda.
I am unhappy at the lack of updates and the responses I’ve had from flagstaff are shockingly poor.
I hope Sound are not paying them much!
I do believe we will get a good outcome here, but this company used to pride itself on shar3eholder communication. Not any more.
Good grief, no answer, office must be closed down, we're all doomed ........
or maybe, just maybe they were busy and or in Morocco?
