I would happily engage in a discussion about this but we do not have any information about what the real cause of the delay is.

We don’t know if it’s one tiny clause causing the problem or a fundamental issue that can’t be resolved.

Consequently speculating that the deal is ‘limping along’ as you contest, or very nearly done, is meaningless.

The difference between us is that I hold shares and am hopeful of a positive outcome, if I was not I would sell and move on.

You hold no shares and are negative and seem very keen to keep telling people. For some reason.

I have made it extremely clear that the time has well and truly come for Graham to lay out precisely what has happened and is happening with Calvalley. See below.

I strongly suggest others do the same if they haven’t already.

For the record I support what Graham has done, but the time for a clear open explanation is here. No more hiding behind confidentiality etc.

I would love to have the chance to look Graham in the eye and say ‘what the fcuk is going on’? clearly not the way to phrase the question in a professional environment, but the whole Calvalley situation is way beyond where patient polite questioning is appropriate!

I expect you will see most people who ask questions asking the same one. Please ensure Graham actually answers this!

part of the problem is all communication seems to be intercepted by Flagstaff who treat shareholder comms for sound the same way they would for (say) Microsoft, if they covered them.

I hope this actually gets to Graham, I’ll write as if it does.

The whole Calvalley deal has become ludicrous. Clearly something has gone very wrong.

These things happen.

However, at this point we as owners of the company need to be told some specifics.

1: what has gone wrong and why?

2: what is being done about it?

3: what action is being taken now?

Exclusivity is well behind us now, I can see no reason why this all needs to be secret. Getting it out in the open can only help improve your credibility with share holders and can only help negotiations with other parties, that I sincerely hope are happening.

It is extremely important that we don’t get yet another vague and meaningless ‘update’.

I just want to know wtf is going on.

I seriously can’t think of anything that could delay the deal this long without derailing it completely.

Clearly both Calvalley and Sound think a deal is still possible or one would have walked and we would have that RNS.

So what the hell is it?

Any plausible ideas? Don’t bother with conspiracy theories about Calvalley stringing Sound along to nick the assets, as they would require Sound to be complicit.

I have long been of the opinion that 'he' may actually be another persona of our negative nutter working to discredit any positive sentiment by posting ridiculous but apparently positive things. either way it matters little.

Agreed st Mary, if there was news now we would have an RNS now. they can't hold it back.

if news breaks before the AGM we will get an RNS, if not we won't (except the 'all items passed post AGM RNS)

But, I really see the AGM as a point where Graham will want to draw a line under all the endless waiting. after all it will be a year to the day that they announced non binding terms with Calvalley.

Flagstaff told me there would be an update during the AGM Q&A

so, if it's to be meaningful I would expect an RNS beforehand.

No RNS, so Calvalley have not walked away and Sound have not told them to sling their hook.

Graham is neither Naïve nor stupid, look at the deals he has got over the line. Bond restructuring, GSA, pipeline ….

word on the street is July 4th election to be sannounced at 5pm today.

I e-mailed this morning and received a reply from flagstaff.

there will be an update at the AGM.

what the update will be I do not know (obviously), but given they can't announce anything price sensitive at the AGM, I expect there will be an RNS before then.
