An RNS must be released when anything material happens.

NOT getting the expected deal would be material and would require an RNS.

IF the deal is ready, but not signed, nothing material has happened YET, hence no RNS.

Of course, that is applying logic to AIM …

Well, when we get to where I think the sp is going I'll be off and leave those that gambled more than they could afford to lose to stew in their bitter juice alone. I won't think about Sound again.

The RNS of 27th April said the credit committee meeting to decide on Sound's loan had been scheduled.

I can't believe it would have been scheduled for after the exclusivity period ended, therefore I would think it will be / will have been this week or early next week at the latest, leaving the remaining days to sign the agreement etc.

I think you might have missed the point.

Eid may only last a few days, but when you already have a full schedule, fitting in the meetings that should have happened in that period can prove difficult and take some time.

this is a very large amount of money. The people making the decision (the credit committee) will be very senior and getting them together for extra meetings will take time. squeezing this decision into already full meetings will also be difficult. Sound's decision will not be the only one they need to squeeze in!

The problem here is that although this is entirely out of Sound's hands as they wait fpr the bank's decision, delays reflect on the credibility of Sound. This is of course unfair, but is jumped on by every negative poster and is probably why the sp is so low still.

Even I'm getting frustrated with the glacial (lack of) speed these bankers work at!

@Antiqua - I see no posts talking about 7.5p, from memory that was an old broker target the assumptions of which have subsequently been shown to be unrealistically negative.

The tax settlement for instance removes serious doubt / concerns.

A market cap of £130M for Sound if ANY of the projects work out is way too low.

I was intrigued that GRH was back and clicked on his name to see when he last posted on Sound. Comes up 'page no longer exists' whereas if I click on any other poster's name I see their posting history.

I know what I THINK it will be but the tax resolution news was unexpected as far as I was concerned, although it makes sense in hindsight. So it could be anything. we do know there is a lot of 'news' coming which should push up the sp rather alot.
