yet in a previous post you said I was a small time holder, hardly possible to be a small time holder and over invested, is it.

I make no secret of my holding, it's just north of a million shares at an average very slightly higher than today's sp.

I have spent considerably less than 10% of my net yearly salary on this in total. Considerably! now, I don't see that as over invested. as for research, I have done a great deal. the difference between us (1 of very many I suspect) is that I believe what a CEO of a company tells me in an RNS until proved otherwise. I also don't waste time on things in which I have no interest.

The great thing is we will know who's right and who's wrong soon enough :)

And before someone jumps on that comment, I know IF the deal had been actually signed they would have to release an rns immediately. My point is if deal verbally agreed and paper work being completed etc....

If you got director buys it would indicate no imminent news!

directors can't buy when they have as yet un released news that will impact the SP. how would you feel if they bought a load now at 1.25p today and then tomorrow released news of the agreed terms with Calvalley and the sp went to 5p (say)?

how many times do you need to be told the Calvalley 45 day deadline was NOT a funding deadline, rather an exclusivity deadline! the fact that we have had no rns tells us they are still finalising the terms.

Guessing a specific date / event when the sp will rise will only lead to disappointment. Combine that with betting more than you can afford to lose is the reason we have so many bitter negative posters. They NEED sound to fail to justify their loss and make them feel better about themsleves. (weird I know).

Much better to look at the prospects and plans and think ‘at some point all this value will be reflected in the share price’ I don’t mind if it’s today, tomorrow or next month …. It’s coming and I for one will be in a position to take advantage.

Investing – buy something others think isn’t worth buying when you believe you can see value. Sell when you believe the majority of the value is expressed in the share price. And if you get it wrong, be a grown up and move on.

You're forgetting that by that point sound will be generating yearly profit many multiples of today’s SP.

A failed drill would be disappointing but would not bring the SP down to the levels you suggest.

and your 8/10 on a successful drill seems rather low to me, but we will see.

I wouldn't want any takeover until after Phase1 and Phase2 and at least a couple more wells.

Only thing I will say is this.

Point to one thing in my summary post from this morning that is incorrect.

The SP will catch up at some stage. A low SP does not mean there is no value, in fact quite the opposite!

what I will do is counter the rediculously negative posts of some.

The basics

Phase 1 mLNG progressing well. Expect first gas Q1 next year. This will generate significant free cashflow.

Phase 2 (pipeline etc) loan agreed with Attijariwafa bank for $237m (compare to Market cap of £23m!

Partner (Calvalley) for remaining phase2 funding identified and finalizing binding terms now. Fid expected Q3/early Q4 this year.

Phase2 will generate very very significant revenue for years.

Additionally Calvalley will fully fund further drilling.

There’s a lot of detail in the RNS but the key takeaway is Sound is a very different company to what it was under previous BOD.

A fully funded path to very significant revenue with great partners with deep pockets PLUS huge exploration potential.

Whilst an update would be nice, we can read a lot into the lack of an update.

The 45 day exclusivity period ended 28th July. There was no deadline for completion of finalising the terms.

As we have had no update we can be certain that the two parties are still finalising the terms. If the deal was off, we WOULD have been told.

Also note that the RNS of 13th June said this

The Company is pleased to announce that the Company, on behalf of the Tendrara Production Concession partners, have now received a conditioned offer from the Arranger for a maximum financing of MAD 2.365 billion (c.US$237 million), proposed to be 100% underwritten by the Arranger, subject to the conditions precedent to the conditioned offer being satisfied prior to 30 September 2023 (the "Conditional Offer").

So all conditions need to me met by 30th September. The Calvalley deal is a condition of the loan (65% leverage etc.) so I think we are highly likely to hear news on news on all these things between now and end September.

Going to be a busy period for Sound.

· Binding 45 day period of exclusivity and non-binding term sheet entered into with Calvalley Petroleum (Cyprus) Limited ("Calvalley") for a partial divestment of a 40% working interest in the Tendrara Exploitation Concession and the Grand Tendrara Exploration Permit which will see, subject to agreement of definitive transaction documentation:

13th June + 45 days = 28th July

28th July as can be seen in the RNS!
