Large organisation sold off the 4m & 2m possibly MS, could be a contractual agreement or as I have mentioned in previous posts manipulating the SP for competitive advantage? Let's say day trading on steroids!! A buy back in to the same magnitude will happen soon.

Clearly the best strategy is to rebel against all of the successful strategies and do the opposite it's the British way. So F$% ck Warren buffet and the likes, buy high sell low it's a guaranteed winner you will be skint in no time, what I like to call the race to the bottom. How does that roll, alternatively you could hold long stay strong be rewarded, it's up to you I'm not a financial guru.

Unbelievable 1st hour of the week and negativity already. Since Oct 19th the SP has been on an upward trend delivering 46% since that point. They say trend is your friend? Just relax and stop minute by minute trading it will mess you up.

RIs unfortunately just create short term instability if you value TUI as a business and believe in there strategy to wether and come out of the pandemic in good shape then you are only battling with time itself. If you have invested long then no real issues you will be rewarded at some point down the line. If your trading short term then the RI may have been beneficial or not. I see TUI personally achieving around 8 this year and likely towards the end of 2021.

It's even simpler than that if you want absolute assurity, sell your shares before RI, wait for it all to play out buy back in at the new stabilised price, net net no loss no gain. Otherwise a gamble based on original buy in price. If anyone is unsure of RIs this is the best way for future reference.

Again a nice lengthy synopsis to add, the whole garment trade space will become saturated at some point, so what gives the winner the edge? Marketing! The young people of today just want to wear what they see there idols wearing, boo will just keep pushing the marketing boundaries, celebs, models, Boris Johnson maybe job done.

Inferno I have been with SMI for 2 years and yes 108% last year, I expect all EV related stocks to do very well this year with the Green push from Biden and China. SMI is a great fund to hold in your portfolio in my humble opinion.

I used to work for Very & littlewoods some years ago the Barclay brothers bought Yodel delivery to incorporate end to end supply chain rather than pay 3rd party couriers. To this day that is still a loss making part of the business as the price per parcel rate is extremely tight. Just another overhead to manage!!

Think of RI fundamentals do TUI raise cash by giving discounted shares away NO!! Its a dilution first and foremost you then get an RI price per share, once RI is fully accounted say at 300 and your RI price is 150 to buy the fully issued rights you have to supplement the additional 150 that's how cash is raised. That's why your original buy in price needs to be below 300 in this example to see break even or profit.

Correct and that's why fully understanding RIs is critical so you dont walk into it blind. People should already know there position not guessing. When all is completed people will either benefit or loose depending on buy in price. Only one true winner TUI.
