WAaussie 13:41 . Hi mate, but how can he impact on whats happening? What more could he have done than get us into a position that we hold right now. He has no control over the markets, in this exploration environment, nothing happens tomorrow, its all 3 & 4 months down the path & then another year has passed by.

Think back to when he announced the Winx project & then the drilling rig being booked for a February spud.
Those 2 events were last summer, at least 6 months ago.
What else can he do but keep being positive & doing what he is doing now. He has no power to influence markets mate, especially AIM, a true beast.
We have 40 to 50 days of drilling & testing right now & then we are into 2019 Q2. Time flies, people get frustrated with slow progress, but that is just the nature of exploring. Hopefully the FO will be announced & everyone slips into euphoria.
I'm sure if there was any project that would put us in the money in weeks instead of months that he could drive forward, he would, because he has got much more staked in 88e from a personal & professional level than most of us investors. It all takes time mate.

I do understand your frustration, really.

WAaussie, why do you ultimately hold DW to account for our current dismal share price and return on investment?

This time last year we had 1 play, all brought about I believe by PB's (God Bless Him) skills & forsight. After his sad passing DW was at the helm but he wasn't pulling the strings & digging/drilling for oil at IW#2.

He is the one who has kept his eye on the ball & ear to the ground & has us in a potential life changing window of opportunity that may or may not materialize on all 4 fronts.
DW wasn't the cause of IW#2 going slightly askew, he has no control of this AIM market & certainly is not going to be drilling at Winx.

Get Off his back.

Today, we have 3-4 opportunities going forward.

They didn't come knocking on the door. Somebody used his business acumen to spot POTENTIAL opportunities.

Nothing is a certainty in this life. Certainly not in Oil Exploration.

If Winx 1 spuds tomorrow as forecast, they may, if they start their day shift at a civilised time, actually break ground at 07:30am, which will coincide with LSE closing at 16:30 GMT. Yes, you've got it, they are 9 hours behind us.

When we actually see the RNS is anybody's guess but we will see one & who knows, we might even have details of a Farm-Out.

i bought into 88e mid 2015 & yes, I only began posting last year. Certainly been observing longer than that.
Only post when I have something to say.
Not too sure where the multiple projects & all of the disappointments have been since 2015.
IW 2 didn't go to plan but cannot think of any other disasters.

Took nice profits at 4p & then began to rebuy & yes, I am with a majority now, looking at >40% deficits. We all know the risk but I feel we are sat on the cusp of something pretty exciting right now.

if this piece of information is correct:
Red Emperor announces that 88 Energy, in its capacity as consortium operator, has advised that the mobilisation of Nordic Rig#3 commenced at 08:45 on 1 February 2019 from Deadhorse, Alaska. The mono body rig structure will now travel approximately 90 miles to the Winx-1 well site. Additional equipment required for the commencement of drilling is being mobilised to site concurrently in order to meet the scheduled spud date of 15 February 2019.
4 days from arrival on-site to spud date. They are either there as of yesterday or arrive today. Plus 4 days = 15th, Friday.

This little old #3 rig we are about to use has been there & dunnit.

Rolled onsite Prudhoe, for ConocoPhillips, 5th April 2011, Spud 9th April, 2597 feet by 17th, released from site, operation completed 28th April.
2011.

Lets hope, 8 years on, we achieve similar results.

DW will not have taken much home just yet, unless I missed the 3p spree. This time last year we were hanging our hats on IW#2 which went slightly amiss.
I don't think DW put his head in his hands & went walkabout. Do You?

His nous & business acumen has got us where we are right now. 4 projects, at least 2 farm-outs on the cards.

Get off his back about the 3p for crying out loud. If he walks away, where does that leave us?

I must admit, I think you are quite probably correct. I was thinking more in terms of modules transported & then assembled into the beast we can see on the video, at end of Ice Road. Tell you one thing though, I wouldn't want to be stuck behind it wherever it was going to. Thanks for the comment.

Rig #3 is a drilling & work over rig. In the last couple of years, it has been “the rig of choice” by several majors and independents for drilling exploration wells. It is a single modular package like Rig#1 and Rig#2. This concept allows for short rig up times, low exposure to weather, low risk for spills caused by connections between modules and a small overall footprint.
