Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
I sold my remaining 500,000 this afternoon with a sad heart after years with SM. I’ve been sleeping poorly the nearer we get to Monday.
Coronavirus’s effect on world stock markets hasn’t helped either, AAL pulling the plug played heavy on mind as well as reading reports on other investors misfortunes in SM.
I did state an investment amount with fundsirius a few days ago.
I can now upt that amount as still feel connected with this project although out “at present”??
A sad day ??
Good evening fellow Mushrooms, we certainly have been kept in the dark and fed on s**t , especially since the last oo, some would say further back than that, but that’s debatable in my eyes.
So many locals and beyond staked their futures here, Grandparents nest eggs for their Grandchildren and hard working decent people their pension pots in what was billed as almost liquid gold, only to be robbed as the glitter neared.
Shame on you CF and all board members.
For the first time ever I have given no opinion, it’s reserved.
Well, what a stitch up, something stinks here for sure.
I don’t think options have been given enough effort since September, take over being the easiest option for BOD I’m thinking.
I’ve been in and out of this share since 2009, top slicing has financed my early retirement for three years ago, bought a new XE sport and numerous other luxury holidays and goods along the way.
Yes, SXX has been good for me, can’t complain at that. Always held some shares and still do, sold yesterday 350,000 I bought sub 0.04, so still making some profit.
But still a sizeable amount, mostly from previous profit, that won’t show any profit, I’m keeping, just in case we go north of 0.10.
Where’s the share fairy ????? lol
Been one hell of a ride, I shall miss my daily/weekly trips to this board and Google share price, our annual trip to York catching up with fellow travellers on the “good ship Sirius”
Don’t think though that I would have done anything different.
End of an era, maybe.
Due to a family illness there will be two regular faces missing this AGM, my wife
and I will be absent for the first time in four.
Was really looking forward to question time this year especially, should be EXPLOSIVE.
A big sorry to all the fellow lth we have made friends with, hope to see you all next year.
Those who didn’t get their full asking of extra shares
applied for in the oo are running out of time to obtain
them on the open market close to.15p.
Just saying, IMHO.
More talk of the £1 party again today.
My question is if there is any consolidation of SXX
shares, would that trigger the £1 party, or would
the can be kicked down the road to another monetary
Milestone?
Cliffedge
100-200 years is a long time in politics, assuming
mankind still walks our Planet. Much can and will
happen in that timescale so Im guessing decommissioning
and reinstatement of mine infrastructures is far enough
into the future to be way down on any list.
I was merely stating that any revenue received by future
governments through nationalisation would not necessarily
benefit UK as some posters had said. £300 billion was raised
through taxation from North Sea oil production and squandered by
successive governments acting like lottery winners with no vision for
the future. The residue from this era has attracted undesirables and
still is.
I’m certainly not cross cliffedge ??
Would the UK benefit ?
Look what happened to the North Sea bonanza
and we’re still reaping the repercussions and likely
too for the foreseeable future.
gimla Come on in the waters fine, I found early retirement (partly funded by SXX two years ago) a little like entering the sea for a swim. Firstly doubts and apprehension, secondly a little shivering as the water cools a warm body, finally euphoria. I missed work for a while, but for me the positives far outweighed the negatives. I’m living the dream.
Just back from a working lunch, so just looked in. What is happening here? Not that I’m complaining
Some very constructive questions put to Chris this year I thought. Question time over ran with some still waiting, including myself. A well attended, informative and good hearted AGM. Looking forward to next year with several milestones along the way. Stage 2 requiring take-off contracts, all in hand I’m sure. Question raised re any take overs, Chris strongly gave his intentions should they arise, but as he said it’s shareholders at the end of the day that decides. I was impressed by his past experience of previous encounters with takeovers. I did miss the post AGM refreshments and banter with fellow investors. Onwards and upwards, good luck all.
I’m going RetroRonnie, heading to York lunchtime.
VinInTheBin Welcome aboard.
As of this afternoon I’m back in. Been out since 1st week Nov 17. I was told “ you won’t get back in sub18” which was my re-entry target. Remember Sage? Back just in the nick of time imho. GLA
Getting closer Sage
Thank you for your good wishes GG, my strategy has faired well over the years. I never take advice, not always the best choice but no one gets it right all the time. If there’s movement north and I think it’s sustainable I just get less shares for my money, but if it continues south I get back the original share amount, and there’s a little bonus left over for the finer things in life. If it continues south they’re held. This share will bounce back, as it’s a cert (imho) We’re all here to make money, as often as we can. GLA
GreatGigInTheSky My only concerns were with being above 22p, but back down below 18p is acceptable for me because we all know the potential here. Sage, watch this space.
Sub 18p is my re- entry, sliding closer
I sold this morning to take 5k profit, should have sold in the high 20s, but got too sentimental with this one. Will be back sub 20 Reason, funding and dilution weighing heavily on my mind.
