RE: 10-20p a share once worm turns24 Jul 2025 11:04
Qu. if the rns has a spelling mistake, why didn't they issue a correction? if there are 'non-compete' and 'non-complete' possibles, is it really a mistake? many rns' are corrected with a second rns restatement.
qu. why are people still talking about churn of placing shares? why would £2million's worth of shares be traded below the placing price? are these HNWIs who took them so stupid/amateur that they're panic selling?
obviously, the world and its investor wife can't all bale at the same time but it would seem to me that a lot of folk who hold sp averages are hedging their bets and taking some profit, just in case. i don't see any other likely explanation, on the basis that noone particularly likes to sell at a loss, significant or otherwise.
it's issues like the Nov 'legally binding agreement' to buy Metapay, with no clues as to how long regulatory approvals will take.
Same with Treasury... when is 'time to time' and, if they haven't bought any (aside from the 1, which i could buy!) what was the point of dropping the rns, as it doesn't require an EGM?
The Semnet arbitration... is it a spelling mistake or not? if it isn't, what does 'non-complete' mean. if it's the other, why not correct it? assumption is because they rns'd it had completed, it must be the other but, is it? are they forward selling their consideration shares??? otherwise, the valuation... as it's only valued at $36million on IPO, is there a possibility that the IPO won't happen/is delayed because of this arbitration?
the integration... what does it actually do for the company that it merited a rocket emoji? is it just backend savings or is is something that generates more clients/revenue? a rocket on its own says... nothing. you can guess but it says nothing specific.
comes down to the overall problem... everyone is punting their own pov, and there's no real clues to hold onto as the this rns will still only give us updates to 4 months ago. so, what will the forward guidance be? is it going to be 'things are progressing' and 'we expect' wallpapered over everything, hiding specifics? too many 'i think it means' which means we don't know.
just not a great position to be in when confidence is undermined by lack of detail (that's what 'trolling; is, pointing out lack of info, not shouting 'we're doomed'... unless doom is what the lack of info provides).
so, once again, it becomes a cointoss, with the weight of decision making put onto the shoulders of investors... who have to 'believe' or else they're at fault for misconstruing the info out there.
(and yes, back from an overnight).
