As such, we are keenly interested in maintaining our involvement in the development of IB-003 via a phase 2 trial. The agent has met phase 1 objectives. It has demonstrated an excellent safety profile, proven to be well tolerated in humans with no dose limiting toxicities, and has demonstrated preliminary signals of efficacy. These results are encouraging.

Reacquiring

When I first invested here roughly 5 years ago there was something like 67m shares in issue and tb had 29.9% that was exactly my thoughts he won’t dilute himself, but when you are issuing them to yourself then selling into any rises then requiring the same amount at a discounted price you’re not diluting yourself. On top of that paying yourself £100k a year for the privilege definitely helps to ensure your not diluting yourself.

After what happened at the beginning of the year it’s clear that this is a move that will only benefit him and his family. The 719k raised is just going to be used for a placing here so he gets more shares cheaper than what you or I would have to pay on the open market. If any anyone else offered to buy those shares at 1.1p they would be told no way it’s far too low they’re worth much more but because he holds all the cards he can do as he pleases. It’s a blatant abuse of power and I can’t believe it’s legal.

Wouldn’t it be great if another hnw individual calls his bluff and buys a majority stake in Iqai on the open market then blocks his next move of issuing himself more free confetti.

Stone Checker Software uses an algorithm from texrad and has a world wide license to use. Texrad is owned by feedback plc which tb used to be a director of then I think there was a falling out. So in my opinion tb has held back its use as to not pay feedback any royalties. Can’t think of any other reason after the effort put into it. All in my opinion

About

The objective of this program is to provide GaM for compassionate use in patients with relapsed/refractory histologic or molecular glioblastoma who have exhausted available treatments.

The population of this program is adult patients aged greater than or equal to 18 years with a diagnosis of relapsed/refractory histologic or molecular glioblastoma, according to the WHO 2021 diagnostic criteria.

Molecular glioblastoma is characterized as an IDH-wildtype diffuse and astrocytic glioma in adults if there is microvascular proliferation or necrosis or TERT promoter mutation or EGFR gene amplification or +7/-10 chromosome copy number changes

Full description

This is an intermediate-sized expanded access treatment protocol. GaM (GaM) will be provided as 500 mg capsules and will be self-administered once daily by mouth at the assigned dose level on a 28-day cycle (one cycle is 28 days). Initially, the patients will be provided a three (3) cycle prescription (a 28-day supply with two refills); enough total supply of GaM for three full cycles to allow for self-administration at home. It should be taken on an empty stomach. After that initial period, subsequent GaM will be provided to patients for continued self-administration.

At the treating physician's discretion, additional medication(s) may be administered. Clinical use of cancer-supportive care therapies is unrestricted, but the non-emergent use of additional anti-cancer therapies requires prior consultation with xCures and Imaging Biometrics. xCures along with Imaging Biometrics will be consulted prior to the non-emergent administration of any additional anti-cancer medications. xCures, along with Imaging Biometrics, should be consulted prior to any schedule modifications or the addition of other therapy. The patients may discontinue therapy at any time for any reason. The treating physician can discontinue therapy with GaM at any time for any reason.

The relationship with mcw is priceless. Normally these clinical studies along with the costs would be funded by the company so it’s great to see this happening from the Schmainda Lab. Ultimately it’s iqai shareholders that will reap the rewards provided the trials are successful. Hopefully we get some news around the phase one ending and also some news on the paediatric side of things!
