Don't think so jaytee. It just happens to be that if you sell 15000 quid worth at 2.25p you sell that amount of shares.
This all looks very controlled. An orderly sell of shares going on with mms making their margin and some PIs joining in around the edges. Some seeing this as a change of direction and some selling the shares they bought lower. Some may even be taking the opportunity to get out. Overall the mms seem to be comfortably in control and coordinating the orderly transfer. Sitting on my hands until late Friday at least. More likely join in next Monday afternoon. Agreed weeble and they will hold the sp where it is until the net long is cleared or all but cleared and then drop it to stimulate new sales unless some news comes along which allows them to start and uptrend. Due to expected or possible sales on Friday they may hold the sp steady to clear new stock at above 2.5p - be worth watching and learning.

As Michu said earlier this is a gamble but I like the look of it - at least it's blue on one of my accounts again now with the recent 24.59p purchase - hopefully it is bottoming out now - closure of 7 deal will send it rocketing back up - trusting Knott to be focusing on value and profitability which is delaying the deal completion - also trusting he will bring the new wells to production sooner rather than later. operationally he has been spot on so far - the deal has been a moveable feast - as long as it is a feast in the end - we can wait.

Thanks for sharing the chart Geng - yes topcatz and moneyhawk - most of my investment is still in - just trading a portion to try to pick up free shares - using charts etc to try to mitigate chances of market moving against me - this has been very successful over the past couple of years but unfortunately I am not immune to paying too much for shares. My instinct tells me that 2.05p was the base here and that we may only go to 2.2p to 2.35p this time on the dip so buying at 2.3p or 2.35p would be a good move IMO - take Geng's point that 1.9p would be even better if it came - just doesn't have that feel about it - there is a lot of buying interest and enthusiasm but also headwinds with someone unwinding and also the placing shares could come to the market on Friday. Once these ar out of the way then 3.1p should be a possibility. 2.8p breaks the down channel and 3.1p opens the way to the sunlit uplands - too soon though I think. need those profits to start landing first.

True allthatguff - that's why I rely on charts and technical indicators to tell me what folks have been thinking and how those thoughts have been changing - they are all pointing in one direction at the moment.

One thing is for sure - the market makers are going to or have made a profit on those shares. Anyone buying now at 2.6p is buying shares that the market makers bought at 2.25p - that's around 12.5% profit - since the mm's set the sell price and can refuse to buy more from folks if they want - then they control the sp. It could be a rope a dope - big sells and then move the sp up so that folks think its moving up and panic buy - a nice coordinated proactive investors article releasing old news to new buyers looks a bit coincidental. Nope - keeping my powder dry - I will pay 2.3p for the shares the mm's bought at 2.25p because they have to make a living but 2.6p is ridiculous given the price they paid for them.

Colin and Leon are building this to midcap - which means investment and expansion followed by looking after shareholders interests - the sp will not always represent the real underlying value of what they are building as we know to our cost but in the fullness of time they cannot achieve their aims and get rich themselves without taking shareholders with them.
In the meantime someone is dumping their holding - patience exhausted? - latest 4% placing a placing too far? They let £40,000 worth go at 2.25p this morning - this is depressing the sp and dropping us out of the nice rising channel that was developing - more patience needed - bu the newsflow in the first half of next year should be spectacular - getting back up to my maximum holding for that.

Some dipping their toes in now and I firmly believe they are getting a bargain - the shares come into play on Friday ish and I think I will wait until after then to get my shares back. Optimistic but cautious in the very short term.

The charts were showing overbought last week (and still are) so I top sliced a portion of my shares with the hope of getting back in lower.
There is some missing detail on this deal - if we are buying this operation - do we still need Northam? Where will future feed come from - is there enough to make this sustainable. The potential looks great.
All in all a typical JLP deal - lots of jam - but this time not too distant into the future but the news is that we own 4% less of the company this morning than we did on Friday - ok we get a bigger company so it is offset - I think the market could take this news either way but the charts say it will use this as an excuse to mark the sp down in the short term - personally not selling a single share and looking to buy back the ones I sold last week when the local bottom is in.
The future appears to have just got rosier but the level of distrust in JLP should make it hard going over the next week or so.

Say 4 million. Where does it come from. Does it count as project development and so is eligible for the 50 million debt facility or do we need to raise cash through the dreaded p word?

Hi Jefry. You should have used 50% not 30% in your calculation. Even so it was very much back of a dag packet. Your point is pertinent _ Palladian and rhodium rise have offset quite a lot of the platinum fall. Just can't see a new mine until demand really forces up prices. 1400 for platinum would get the sp soaring as Tjate would then be saleable.
Agree with geng that 3.1p is THE price to breach and the sp should go to 9p or thereabouts IMO.

Two people have been prepared to pay above 2.75p so far - one at 2.77p and one at 2.9p. The question is are there any more or will it drop back a bit to take a breath - the charts and indicators can't read the future - so it's watch and wait - the indicators say the sp has strained itself upwards but if a break out is on the cards it will happen whatever is in the charts - still think it will pull back but this is a lot better than watching the paint dry.

Looks like the bottoming process is definitely underway. We have spiked up to the last spike (personally expecting a re-trace from here but you never know) i.e. stopped putting in lower highs. We should have strong support below us now and 2.05p could well have been the bottom. Barriers are at 2.7p/2.75p and 3.1p IMO - the first being a challenge and the latter being huge for the sp here.
It takes time for previous 'investors' to renew their belief that this share is good for them - a bit like going to the dentist - the pain dims in the memory and gradually you start to believe that this will do you good.

Sold a small amount of my holding at .26p with the ambition of buying back lower after this spike. Kept most of my holding in place - don't know about 25p - that would need new deals with far bigger companies - but can see close to 10p with little problem as the cash feeds through to the bottom line over the next 6 to 18 months.

Wait until the end DF when Leon stands up to reveal he's wearing high heals, stockings and suspenders - a bit of excitement for the ladies.

Thanks Rainbow wasn't sure what I was saying. Could do with Charlie's opinion - our local MacDonalds is closed for refurbishment - you can still get drive through but they don't have time to discuss the latest on FRR unfortunately. Nice big advert for the millionaire latte though as you drive through - it's a large sheet of paper covered ibn plastic with a hard backing - mark my words - it's a sign.
