Hannover Messe time again, interestingly Acta will be doing a talk on their products as usual, but they will also be talking about their Megawatt capabilities for Power to Gas (they mentioned about 12 months back that they were looking at the possibilities of scaling up for the Power to Gas market) and something called “H2RUN”, which is a new one on me and I’ve no idea what it is, they will also be talking about roadside hydrogen refuelling stations and I’m presuming that might have something to do with the APFCT scooters ……… worth noting that M-Field will be there again this year and they are doing a talk just before Acta on “Extended Fuel Cell Energy Storage Solution”, which as we know utilises the Acta Electrolyser “The Acta HydrogenBattery and H2RUN, Acta's Complement to MW scale P2G and FCEV roadside refuelling stations” http://www.h2fc-fair.com/hm14/exhibitors/acta.html

Once the DOE proves fuel cells are a cleaner, cheaper power source to buffer against outages, other businesses are going to have to take notice. Sprint has already deployed approximately 500 hydrogen fuel cells in their network. To get an idea of the potential for Acta ……… just follow Ballard One of Ballard’s Key Growth drivers going forward is supplying the Telecoms sector for Back-Up power ………. They can’t however supply a direct hydrogen unit that can generate its own hydrogen on-site, which adds to the cost through deliveries of hydrogen to the sites (often remote) ……… Acta can, which is unique in the market and Relion have realised this and both companies are cooperating directly and the Relion/Acta based ACTA Power has been shown for the first time this week in Barcelona Ballard have to be interested, in fact before the ill-fated Isle of White project was scrapped because ITM threw a tantrum, ACTA would have been working with Ballard on that project. Two of the biggest suppliers of Fuel Cells to the Telecoms sector in the world are either directly or indirectly connected to ACTA ………. One decent order and this will fly!
