There is no point in Fiserv buying shares. Any shares owned by the offeror cannot vote.

IMHO, this whole 2.9p bid was pitched to tempt recent buyers into selling out relatively cheaply, relieved to have any profit at all, after the trolling activities on this and other BBs. Having bought out those shares cheaply, they now have to crack the harder nuts.

Q. Why would anyone pay more than the 2.9p Mr Cameron has sold us out for? A. Because they cannot win the vote, even with the BOD's massive 1/6th of 1%.

I'm not taking part in this discussion, other than to thank FullStack for his vote of confidence. I have always appreciated the company and what it is trying to do in a hugely expanding and lucrative business sector, but I have always tried to back up my opinion with facts and reasoning. oldskool, I agree there is no sign of a placing. What Mr Masterman seems to be doing, is to show that neither SRON nor WRES is the one man band that some investors seem to think it is. As well as packing in the events while he is in the UK, investors get to see Sara Edmonson fron SRON and Fernando de la Fuente from WRES.

The offer was pitched to get PIs to grab the first bit of profit they could. That's why the trolls were busy bashing the sp down - to lower PI expectations. We need Santander to follow Cavendish and come out against this. As far as I can tell, Santander is a bank that has principles of fairness. I can't see them approving of shareholder shafting. I don't think they will like being sold out themselves, but they may want to preserve their close ties with Monitise.

1NTX "K3 - you forgot to add the value of FINKit and the patents !" I should have added that I was only adding in the stuff we can easily value - I have no idea how much FINKit is worth (other than a lot) or the patents. They should at least pay the going rate for what we CAN value.

We should either be offered a Bidco share payment, OR the value of cash in bank, PLUS tax losses, PLUS MVC valued at 15 X ebitda for 2017. I make that about 20p. Anything less is a stitch up by the existing BOD.

Basil, they want monitise, that is for sure. Ive only listened to the first two speakers, but they emphasise the explosion in mobile money, the need for speed of innovation and, specifically, the desire to expand into a cloud data centre in the uk. Well, we have one in the uk and one in Germany, paid for by we shareholders. Yet Mr Cameron seems determined to sell the company out from under the existing shareholders!!! Cavendish, lead the way. I'm right behind you!!!
