Safety, the politicians chose to give the decision to the people. They were armed with all the tools of state, including liberal, elite MSM. There was never a doubt in their mind that the poor, thick, normal people would ignore the wisdom of the great and the good, or ignore the worst predictions of Project Fear. They thought the public would vote the way they were supposed to vote - remain.

Had that happened, the government and MSM would have praised their wisdom, leavers would have moaned for a good while and normal service would have been resumed.

However, THE PEOPLE voted to leave, so the Establishment and MSM fought back. Project Fear, Project Racism and Project Stupidity. Anyone who voted Leave had to be vilified, but also corrected. That doesn’t go down at all well with the ordinary man or woman in the street. So, yes, I agree. The wounds will not heal.

This has nothing to do with class warfare. Working class, Labour voters in the North of England voted to leave the EU. Safety, we give funds to the EU. The EU gives us some of those funds back and tells us what to do with them. Some our our money back from the EU goes to our farmers.

Without the EU, we can give money to farmers directly, if required.

The EU will not prejudice their massive trade surplus with the UK by having anything other than zero tariff trade. They may be unelected, megalomaniac and corrupt, but stupid, they are not.
