It was a decent report and makes me like this a bit more, i think the patient will be rewarded here.

i sold out on the last spike and reading the RNS this morning thought this would rocket and therefore that i had missed the boat here, but at least it gives me a good reason to get back in at a decent price. GLA.

I agree there are certainly some positives to take way. I’m happy to continue to hold these for the foreseeable future and might be worth adding a few more at these levels.

Well they have plenty of cash in the bank. Hopefully they will have a good h2

i think the drift will continue until we get an update from the BoD. The last news was early April - would be nice to have another.
But on the other hand this is starting to look quite cheap and it is getting tempting to top up at these levels.

Socialist - thanks for your reply. Fully respect your opinion. I would like to see this do well, but I just dont have confidence that the BoD choose the right investments for our money. For the past few years they have promised a lot but haven’t delivered. This needs something to inspire investors.
Re the point about doing well to raise money they have given away 50% of a company they valued at over £1.7 mil for £500k. If someone offered me half of 1.7mil for 500k I would take it.

the way i see it is that the £500k raised is equal to the sum of the value of what was there before. given GUN already had some cash and some UOG shares this valued the rest of the assets at very little. If the share price is going to move up from here, they need to do something different to inspire new investors to the party. if all they do is add it to the existing investments then penny's observations are highly likely to come true.

I think the falls are due to the lack of news, expectation of a placing, and lack of confidence that there is actually any value here. As i see it there is about £80k in UOG shares, some mining investments that will get diluted, and a small outfit selling alcohol in some bars that may well be closed.

As there are less shares the price will go up to reflect the lower number of shares, your overall holding will be the same proportion of the company and barring any change in share price will be worth the same. However it might be a pre-cursor to the BOD raising funds and making the share price go back down to the current levels following endless equity raises to pay their salaries.

i tend to always look at the first line and the tone - if it starts with "is pleased" or "delighted to". This starts with is pleased so at least the BOD think it is good. I think it isnt as bad as some feared, the only missing part for me is details of cash in the bank.

Yup nice rise today off the back of the results. This has been pretty good over the past couple of years

I agree with your analysis, I have been in this for about the same amount of time and have averaged down a couple of times. I am in no rush so happy to hold on and wait to see how this all works out. Like you say good potential but a degree of risk and uncertainty. Good luck.

Interesting RNS, but there doesn’t seem to be any real plan other than a bit more testing here and a bit more testing there. I can see this drifting unless management get a grip and serve up a decent plan to entice investors in. Until then it feels like a lifestyle share. Just my opinion of course, but feel I am going to be stuck sitting on a loss for a few more months yet.

nice Update- all seems very positive. Think I will have to hold long term but seems set to offer something here
