The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
A year is an age in share trading, but investing in assets that the market is finding increasingly attractive, a year is nothing. The Tosa money should come in December, only 6 months. We are all feeling beaten up, it has been a very depressing few years, but the sun is starting to rise.
Rather a mooted response to the RNS, to me $6’s a ton gives a great potential, but the market is just not interested. I think PC went for a lower upfront payment, and a higher royalty. A longer term approach. The market is Just too jaded with SRES, and does not appreciate it. The asset values at some stage will be revealed, patience as ever!
The reference to Crow springs threw me a bit, it must be reference to our 29 licences in the county lines diatomite project from the web site. https://www.sunriseresourcesplc.com/county-line-diatomite-nevada
How many millions of tons are in those 29 licences at $6’s a ton royalty!! This could be absolutely massive, with the royalties starting as early as next year. Imagine a deal of this kind with the CS project, at that level of royalty! It just shows the potential upside at this level.
The volume is just so small, a share price break out is nice, but not sustainable without some volume. I don’t know what has caused today’s rise? The market will only really respond to a deal that puts some confirmed value on our CS project, with our 28 year mine licence. We will hear something in the next 5 weeks, and I think the value of the deal will be multiples of our share price. I am certainly not excited by a 20% rise with no news and little volume.
The odds are looking positive that Golden Metal resources have a commercial find. We are years away from earning any royalty, but the value of our royalty in the ground will be increasing. Positive news whilst we wait for the CS RNS.
Looking on the bright side, no deal has been done and gold is over $2400, and looking to go higher. One could argue that we are lucky that a deal was not done 6 months ago! A deal will now reflect the increase in gold price, happy to sit and wait, and trust JM to do the best deal possible given the circumstances.
We are where we are, it is up for sale, and we wait. With gold at 2400, cutting back on expenses over the next few months until a sale is confirmed, is not material to the shareholders. A drop in the share price, always brings out negativity. Happy to let the board negotiate to reflect gold at 2400, and the upside resource potential. In the board we trust, or sell up, there are only two options.
A confident looking Greg, and why not? Lots of upside, great profit margin, they want in. We just have to be patient with first production first quarter 2026. The figures will eventually translate into the share price, but in the meantime we just have to wait. Low risk high reward share.
Https://hotcopper.com.au/asx/sfx/?keywords=SFX Worth keeping an eye on Sheffield, they have a market cap 10 times bigger than us, and they might announce something before us.
I agree with you Safe, significant negative shareholder value, I can understand your vented frustrations. I am still invested because of the belief, that over time this situation will change, hence why I still support PC. You might want to call me naive, however establishing the value of our assets is not far away. Sounding off now achieves what?
I agree the royalties are a long way away, but my point is purely that the value looks to be increasing if we were to sell the royalty today. I don’t think we will get any more news on Tolsa until December, when they have to make a decision. June is round the corner for the CS project, and I would hope that PC was being conservative! We can but wait, with a market cap that reflects a blank!
I can understand what you are saying. But there are other ways to raise money, eg types of business deals, which might or might not be about to be signed. We just don’t know, and can’t read too much into the RNS, even though we would like to, depending on stance!
A positive RNS that comes out of the blue. It will probably not move the needle much, but it puts our lowly valuation into perspective. I presume the CS project negotiations, will be on the same basis. A royalty based company.
I don’t mean to be insulting, there are enough insults given to PC on this chat forum to put investors off. I was expressing my opinion as to why the share price is as it is with so much potential. There have been achievements, but the market does not recognise them. I am prepared to wait until they do, simple as that. The theme of the thread was to try to put some value to the deal that is being negotiated. If all talks had come to nothing PC would have issued a RNS. So you either have patience or you sell, there are no other alternatives. In the meantime the market is moving in our direction, which should improve our negotiating power.
