Is it possible olmpic challenger is off to Asturfeitos test site? Wherever that is. The Spanish manufacturing partner of the variable pitch system.

Hopefully SAE are high up on the list to help achieve this ambition. Tidal Interest just seems to keep on growing.
My attention was also drawn into the mention of the government in the RNS. I get the feeling there could be more funding getting put on the table or should I say in the water!
It may have been getting refueled over at Invergordon and back to Nigg for its next task. Be great if it was to install a third turbine back in the water assuming it was only two that got reinstalled earlier in week. I'd imagine space for three would of been too tight on the vessel
It's not old news. Original participation was a demonstration project, this sounds like its going to progress to a massive project!!

Sounds very good on the initial part I can see for someone like us and who has had a fully operational demo turbine already proved its capabilities in that region.
April's fast approaching though. Happy days ahead
I think they were looking to install two turbines back in place on the same trip to reduce costs on hiring the vessel again. We shall find out this week.
Don't think we'll see an RNS until the turbines are fully operational under water again. It sounds like a quick process, so should be looking good for something next week
Look like two very positive RNS, big 2022 ahead.

2017 it was the Olympic challenger used in the install
That could be the baby we've been waiting for! I'm sure there was one with a similar colour scheme used in a previous turbine install/movement. Fingers crossed

Believe this is the facility AMTE are using to start with before building our own production plant. Hopefully be a positive RNS in the not to distant future.

Maybe just the wake up call and incident required to make our turbines even more desirable and a sensible alternative to the above. Bring on the future boom of tidal!
Be nice if it was a delivery of components for the repair or refurb of the turbines that are out of the water and will allow the reinstallation pronto.

Unfortunately they are there to drop off or collect the gigantic base or tower structures for the offshore wind turbines. What a size!
Update on the polar onyx its currently off coast of Sri Lanka! I believe i read that vessel has since been sold to some company out that part of the world. So doubt it will be lined up for turbine reinstallation this time.
Ahh I can only say good time to bring your average down then!? Ive slowly taken my average to around 4.3p. Be over the moon if It returned to the high 20s one day and very much hope it does for those who remained and weathered the stotm.
