Their excuse for their downgrade is Flimsy at best.

But you have to say, they are nothing if not Opportunistic - they're using this to get some more mates in through the side door at a nice discount.

It seems to me that Mr Day is rather excellent at controling and making the most if the news flow. So I would expect the Telfer MRE to appear later this qtr.

I can't decide whether I should be long or short Greenland in general. But the upside looks a better bet than the downside which is obviously limited to ones actual spend. Confused ? yes I am. Anyway I've just bought another 50,000 @ 3.18.

You'll have noticed that the GBP-> AUD xrate topped out at 2.16 a little while back ? Its now at just 2.00 and will it drop back to 1.57 where it was a few years ago?

I dont know whether it was this thread or not but it has been said that we can expect US $ treasury bonds to be sold off (and gold bought instead).

So this should mean US T-bills go down in price but their yield goes up. Fine so far.

Whilst I agree with this scenario completely I'm in the market for physical US dollars for travel etc in the next 2 years - let's say $10,000 for the sake of argument.

My question to all you clever people is ....Do I buy now or do I wait until last minute - in other words is the £ going to go up against the US$ or down.

I should also say I can buy and hold these US$ on my Wise Account and get 3.5% interest.
