Not invested here, but notice TCG is going the same way as another share I had the misfortune of investing in recently. I read over the weekend that credit card firms are getting twitchy, there appears to be a lot of talk of selling the airline (so try and ignore all the expert airline valuers on here!), but the reality is, the press is very negative, which will cause lasting damage, and I would imagine will affect sales. I would advise anyone in this situation not to try and make a quick buck in following others advise on this board. Perhaps it's a day trading type of share. If you want to take a punt, then that is your choice, but it is very easy to read what others say and get carried away, and you will never be sure of their exact motives. GLA.
bought back in Scully?.....I mean bobat123!
this would have been a brilliant day trading share, I'd have never sold out here at a loss and dumped it all in DEBS to lose the lot.
Despite a little boost from our friends over the pond here today, it's nice to see BP shooting back up towards 6....and 'hopefully' past that mark, with a great dividend. Mind you it was rocky over December when it went sub 5.
If you click on any of scully's previous hilarities.....I mean posts, then they go to error. So by my reckoning he's gone! But no doubt, he'll find himself back sooner or latter under some guise!
Hoping it's overhype! I got in this morning with 65 shares with a view of holding long term.
..now you know I'm not the type to take the P...……..but I think the Porche needs a re-rate to a Lada Riva... looking at what you've managed to lose. Anyway must go, got to get the kids some Jasper Cords from Debs. xx
if it's any consolation scully, even with my poor trading of always selling at the wrong time, my 40k invested in shares since Feb 2018 is today worth £39,324.74, so I feel your pain, I have lost £675.26 to be exact. And the smarter ones would no doubt factor in more of a loss with inflation and loss of 1% I'd have earnt sticking it in Barclays.
well I guess you are stuck in here until such times as the next RNS, and then on it's contents you can either judge whether to stay or go...….
Today I topped up to the maximum annual 20k stock and shares ISA sticking this money in:- A British multinational life assurance and financial services company headquartered in London, United Kingdom. It was founded in London in May 1848 to provide loans to professional and working people.
I am unable to say what company, so as not to upset noblungu with 'cross-promoting'.
...good day? lol
How's things Scully???
Scully, what you plan to do, and what you actually do are two completely different things in the world of Aim, it has this unexplainable draw, which will keep you in.
I used up my Share ISA allowance today scully by investing a bit more in ITV, and added a couple of new ones; Admiral and IMI, so all of my portfolio is FTSE dividend payers, apart from 2 (FARN & METRO).
...to one and all who have made great gains in this one.
Prockey, Scully can't reply during the day, as he's out in the high-street doing a bit of Busking to raise funds after his losses here.
I will take a look scully, thanks for the heads up. I have 5k left to fill up my current Share ISA by April, but will most probably stick with the black stuff produced by a certain major who pays a great dividend.
I don't give opinions on stocks Global, I just play out on these boards how my investments are going. What I usually find is the minute I stick money in to a share, then it usually goes South! Then I moan my arse off via LSE in doom and gloom!
