Well we are definitely moving in the right direction. I have a few k's worth of Farn, and currently 50% up....it's making up for my Metro Disaster! Lets hope we see some more rise - I am wondering if news is due tomorrow hence this current spike......

Hi All, Just purchased 19,618 shares of LEK, average price 5.2p, so hoping from here it can rise! It seems up and down a fair bit, so hopefully getting in at this price it can north!

What an absolute joke, bought in a couple of times earlier this year, and average price paid was just over 12quid a share. Now it's 2, and showing an 84% loss. Why is this CEO still at the helm? I sit here contemplating selling but don't...but one thing I am not doing is averaging down.

Ant, that is very bad luck. I am sorry to hear your news. I stayed away SXX, but for a year the commentators were really pushing and recommending this, and it's easily to get sucked in. I am king of getting suckered in...…if it's a ****e old share, then I've been in it!!!. Even with the FTSE shares, it's not about making huge gains, it's almost holding on to negate losses. I have invested for about 5 years. I lost 18k in the first two years, then made 4k profit I think in year 3, and for the last 2 years, I have just broken even with my pot; which stand at about 60k. Sadly if I had have stuck it in a no-interest high street bank, my 60k would be worth 74k'ish. Onward and upwards. Just think, it'll make you a wiser investor in the future...if you choose to keep investing.

You are probably right thunder. But I have been in so many flipping shares where I was 20% or 40% up, and I held on, and then it went back south. On this occasion with BUR I could never see this happening though.

just sold out, having stuck a grand in yesterday morning, and just got back 1.4k. Used it to increase my holding in BP at circa 506p. I was tempted to hang on in here, as it'll probably go back to where it was, but a profits a profit, and I made 40%. Good luck to all invested here, hope it all works out for yous.

So my grand I stuck in this morning, and just did a test sell and offering just shy of 1400. Wondering if I should sell up for profit, and then await Muddy Waters counter argument, for it to yo yo around?

well I sunk a grand of my hard-earned this morning and my APP was 605. If the BoD are true in their statements, then surely this will head north. Each and every time on a risky-punt I promise myself it'll be the last time, and to stick with the FTSE100's - but even the 100's are proving a nightmare to me!

Fivebellies - There is really no need for your abuse thank you very much! My point is the fact there are people who invade these boards and ramp a share, with completely ludicrous and unsubstantiated targets (with not a clue or substance), and innocent folk are lured in. As soon as a person questions the 'mouthpiece' and his (suckered in) band of followers, it's almost gangland against the person, or they deramp! Sadly; and it seems most recently with AIM; it usually ends in tears. But feel free to take a pop at me!

Thankfully financial folk in the press can pick out the snapshots of these huge RNS's. It's very double-dutch to me when I read them, especially oil firms and the banks!

Stuart you can't have an opinion on LSE forums if your opinion differs from the "one main mouth-piece" and his/her band of followers! It's then gang-culture! On a serious note, I do hope it heads towards the £2, I have been invested here for over a year now and have hated and loved this stock. Nothing surprises me with it though.

I topped up my holding yesterday after selling out of SAGA on it's rise from buying at 33p. I always tend to look at BP as a safe bet, with great dividend, and exchange rates are helping with that. I just wish it would hit 6, and then dance around over the 6 mark.

Well a nice rise for today, have previously lost faith in the share, especially when it dived in to the 50's, but I held; and now it's paying off. I am unsure if it's going to hit £9 anytime soon, I think I would be happy if it rose to around a couple of quid and sell up. It's funny to read such childish comments and se such childish behaviour from some quarters - that is why whatever is said on these boards should all be taken with a pinch of salt.

Well I've bought just under 5,500 shares, been watching for a while, and thought today was Buy day! Let's hope this now goes upwards and onwards!

FARN is looking great. Bought at 125 dip in May 18, and then spent the rest of last year... and half of this year with my head in my hands (especially when it dipped in to the 50's). Sometimes you just have to leave your shares alone cross everything for a good result. I might bale out if it hits 2's.
