Not in English though lol i thik spelling matters in that one ! So being fastidious enough to use spell check and maybe being a good speller is a prerequisite of intelligence huh ??? Nah dyslexia and general weakness in that department have made life tricky but not held me back! slows down your speed when reading and requires extra effort but not insurmountable, well done for that original, barb though lmfao. Well I think that we were rising prior to the rumour and maybe the rumour added legs to the rise ? I think we had been oversold or over manipulated prior to yesterday personally and I’m not sure AA raising those funds was to purchase Eur however a 30% rise appearing to point heavily towards a certain rumour as the cause usually results in a statement especially if the rumour is known to be false !
I was simple saying the bod in several scenarios can not respond regardless of the truth or fiction of the rumour and why they couldn’t !
To be honest any counter balance to the manipulation we have been witnessing is fine by me! It shows just how tightly wound this share is and any hint that the ends game is in right has and will have a dramatic effect on the sp ! FYI this was a flimsy rumour which may or may not be true ! Imagine the sp if a credible rumour gathers traction ???!!! Gla

The rise today was primarily in response to speculation that AA had raised 15 billion to buy Eurasia. Had our bod had certain knowledge that this was not the case ie incorrect speculation ! they would have been obliged to put out an rns to that effect .
This doesn’t mean of course that it’s correct speculation only that our bod at the very least does not know .
The interesting bit is IF AA were not in the running ie had withdrawn from the fsp ( outbid) then our bod WOULD have known the speculation was incorrect and said so . With me so far ? :) Which means either A. It’s true B. AA are still in the running so even if it isn’t true our bod are bound by the nda Or C. Our bod thinks it may be true but have not been given that information by AA and so because of nda can’t comment.
The only way our bod would be able to deny the speculation is if AA had abandoned the fsp and so either AA is putting ducks in a row for a binding offer Or at the very least still involved in the fsp wither solo if with a partner !
