rights issues are underwritten by the financial institution running it ! Share holder are offered an allocation based on their holdings and the unsold shares if any are bought by the under writer !

I think whatever happens if there is an issue what better way for the BOD who are constrained by the nda and fsp to set their stall out. :) Rights issue at say 34p underwritten but huge financial consortium who want to buy future product anyway ! major assumption floating around atm. First that there will be a rights issue ( not a given ) and secomd that the rights issue will be at a discount to prevailing sp also not a given. IF there is a rights issue WHO will it be underwritten by ? Has anyone considered it would be underwritten by a financial consortium from Japan AND if the rights issue were to be at a premium of the sp the un allocated shares would be taken up by said consortium.
Knowing that a common situation re rights issues is that the sp walks down in anticipation what better way for a large investor to take a large position without spiking the sp ??? Remember most rights issues are for a company in distress WE ARE NOT! So the prevailing behaviors have no relevance to us other than its the way things usually pan out.
What im saying is dont assume you will be able to buy cheaper later ! you may have a rude awakening :)

Im pretty sure every attempt was made to push this down yesterday ( failed ) Today i expected a little less volume to play into their hands ( wrong ) Im wondering how long before the re rate now ? In order to control the sp sells have to be parked just above the ask to stifle momentum. I am getting the feeling that ( and its just a feeling ) that the would be sellers are now more interested in buying than playing with the sp and im expecting us to start to steadily rise into the agm :) The other thing is breakouts here are usually spectacular so lets see how it pans out :) gla and as always imho wtfdik bla bla bla

Some like you say, others are cards on the table I’m long and positive and offer that up so anyone reading what I post can see that and take it into consideration. Others ( rarely ) honest traders that like sp gyrations so they can earn again and again. When you are honest about your agenda you have the right to refer to it as an honest legitimate strategy. Even shorters if they say I believe it’s too high so I have a sell cfd and this is why! Much as I fundamentally disapprove of shorting I have no problem with it .
All honest agenda/strategy add to the picture ! Dishonest agenda, trying to sway people’s choices with lies and fakery are the low life’s but I say again everyone has an agenda.
