all you need. My three year old German Sheppard has since he is a puppy tried to bag himself a seagull. They always cheat and fly away, he always looks shocked and disappointed and yet every time he sees one its like " this time ya barsteward" and "one day it will happen " That's where i am now one day its gonna happen and then it will all be worth while and just like my dog i will win and then not know what the hell i am supposed to do next :)

Well i traded the whatsit out of amigo and im very pleased i didn't hold that one lol missed the falling knife AND the rising knife on that one several times but did very very well in spite of it. Learned a couple of things there, one you can never catch the knife knife perfectly falling or rising( lurkers here beware ) and never get too greedy or you'll miss many many very big boats! again lurkers here beware ha ha :) gla

Frankly this loitering @ 20 is becoming a bore!

some traders and real world buyers/sellers are firmly of the opinion that the profit is made during the buy not the sell ! In many scenarios that is not a bad approach, however with a potential multi bagger re rate its certainly not worth missing out for a fraction of a penny.
Im guessing the orders may be shorters reducing or perhaps top ups from the bigs to whom a fraction of a fraction can be worth 100's of k extra profit. Certainly "lurkers", small pi trying to pick the optimum moment to enter the fray are setting themselves up for the biggest " shoot and a miss" of their lives !

Hypothetically..... I am an interested party and i bid 3 bil. This is outbid and i withdraw too rich for my blood. Now i know the sale is progressing and the price is at least 3bil........ Do i not have an advantage over those shareholders on here for eg who have absolutely no idea if its 1 bil or 7 bill sale price ???? Whether the sale is completed or not i am in the same boat as the market BUT i do have market sensitive info the market does not. That was purely hypothetical because we dont know what info is out there and that is kinda the point....... anyway enough i have an opinion and stand by it but its nothing more than that, no accusations no claims of hidden agenda or nepotism just an honestly held opinion.... should try one for size one day gfd you might like the fit !!!

no one has said that crusty ! certainly not me. Market sensitive information has to be made public unless aim rules allow it to be withheld. So i am not asking for the offer price or even what is being sold. I would prefer all parties still be 100% bound by the nda until completion but if they are not then THE information they have should be public ! What they don't have or have not had access too obviously isn't relevant by definition.
The rules are meant to ensure no one has an unfair advantage by having information other shareholders do not have. It IS NOT COMPLICATED!

no ! im suggesting that there are companies and individuals out there and their acolytes/satellites/minions call them what you will, who because they were party to the nda have MORE information than the market in general. They are able to act upon it and whether it is timescale information, or something more direct it stands to reason that the simple knowledge ( im speculating ) that say the deal is two months away or that a bid of x billion dollars was outbid ( due dil dependent ) is incredibly helpful to them and anyone they may invite into their circle.
If parties who had access to privileged information are no longer bound by the nda or the fsp then that information useful or not should be public.
Are we playing semantics about what info is " market sensitive" ??
Timescale could be argued is not market sensitive but if i had know at xmas that it would be august i may have reduced and played elsewhere for a while safe in the knowledge that i could get back in.

i agree with crabby fwiw ! re negative posters being jumped on, i think most can discern the concern holder from the snake oil salesman!! Besides it is safe to say that if there were no boiler room antics there would be no need for the counterbalance that is calling them out . I don't wander round with rose coloured spectacles on, i know aim is still the wild west ( we have marshals now ) but still.
I am long and heavily so, if someone has an opinion backed up with facts and is honest about their agenda i will read it and form an opinion. dai i made a formal inquiry to ajbell and was told via email that they do not lend clients shares at all! and neither do they share " trend data" or trading patterns etc to anyone under any circumstances anonymous or otherwise! Obviously they have their own funds so i am assuming they use that data to aid their own products which is fair enough.

personally i don't like bobbin around with our nose just above 20p !! feel happier in the doldrums @ 22/23 and the mm's might actually generate a lil business up there. I have a " moderate" amount of cash on its way but id still be happier above 22 if we have to languish. i know manipulation is an over used word on bb's but the "pattern" of snuffing out early price rises is definitely there. Park sells just above the bid walk it down and with the help of " trending algos" and nervous holders push the price down and then buy em back. Its almost as if we are to be kept off the leader board early at all costs. Ive been saying for a while now the new " trend trading" and algorithm trading is being manipulated and its time for a tweak of the system. Perhaps stamp duty should be split between the buy and the sell to avoid trends being influenced by selling piecemeal??? I dont know but like always the regs lag behind the tech quite badly. gla
