Moving up. Shame I didn't get my 28p, if we can break 35p today this should bounce to 38p+ on sentiment alone. If news drops 40p+.
I've learned to be very disciplined with my entry and exit points. If I don't get 28p and this rises I'll be very happy with the profit I do make. At the end of the day as long as I make money I won't rue a profit! GLA. Looking forward to seeing what happens tomorrow.
Goddamit MMs I want to top up at 28p, shift the price down a bit! Annoyingly with the weekend coming up it is difficult to see if a drop tomorrow will result in further drops Monday or if there will be a weekend sentiment shift! Seen it happen so many times which is why I don't like Friday trading!
Having been invested since 2014 I used to get so excited for price rises, but now I find myself getting excited for price falls. We go from 2p to 6p, to 3p to 9p etc. The company is growing year on year, reducing debt and gaining orders and if I can buy my shares whilst limiting how much I increase my average to benefit from the next jump I absolutely will. If I can get my next buy below 11p I'll be very happy. Go buy GST or Ocado if you want short term gains (although that is not advice, you'll probably lose money). In the 6ish years I've been up 600%, down 50% and up 300%. If I'd have had more experience in trading back then I could have made a fortune, but now I am quite happy buying on dips and waiting for my sale price of 25p having taken a slice at 14p.
GLA!
Agreed Mosquito. It's all part of the game. Its why I have an account for active trading and one for longer term holdings, which this is currently in both. Can see real upsides here over the next few years, but will also enjoy the day to day movements. If the ask slips below 30p you may see some interest from those who missed the earlier rise, and may drop further next week, but IMO this will rise just as quickly as sentiment changes at the drop of a hat.
Thanks TD, exciting stuff! Along with supercap use in healthcare which hopefully will have seen greater attention over the past year and a boost in wireless charging technology, there are so many avenues to explore and it feels like we will finally start seeing all of CPX's R&D and hard work paying off. GLA.
Topmoney, last week you were banging on about how amazing Richard Bennett was and how you don't want to lose him from CNEL, now you're blatantly stirring on this BB, it is quite clear you have an issue with his moving.
Always going to see large swings either side, that's just the nature of it. Looks like it is rising back up now. Buying opportunities right now which will help find a higher average price holding.
Oh yay the derampers/shorters are here, means good stuff in the pipeline. Careful you don't get burned like in Gamestop. Green hydrogen is one potential replacement for natural gases as it reduces emissions and takes better care of the planet. There has been such a push towards more environmentally friendly energy and Clean Energy has boomed over recent months as more strides are taken and COVID vaccines start meaning we can focus on other important factors.
Did not think we would dip below 9p, although maybe was me trying to not be classed as a shorter, but either way, very happy topping at these levels...averaging up my price slightly but if this moves up again who cares!
Looks like the spread is tightening a bit which is good, but was secretly hoping for a sub 9p top up or as close to. Rather than do a lump sum top up this time I think I might spread it out throughout the month and see what happens, although I think sub 9p is probably unlikely. Happy holdings!
You still have to pay fees to buy the shares though and depending what account you are using there can be monthly fees. iii for example charge £9.99 a month. I always top up around the 25th/26th when I get paid and this always seems to rise just before that. It's very irritating. XD
I'm happy for this to go a bit lower until pay day lol. The recent rise has given me renewed confidence that this is still a great company with plenty of potential, enough for me to feel comfortable topping up again.
Agreed, time in not timing. Decided to dip my toe in a little for now as expect this to grow over the next few years, especially once we can get a real look at how cruise/travel companies succeed after vaccines and initial concerns start to fade.
