I have a conspiracy theory that the the BRICS will soon bring out a gold backed currency. They will use this to trade oil rather than USD. At this stage USDs will plummet in value and the USA will be even more buggered than it is. Gold will increase exponentially.

They are not meaningless. A process must be followed. They don't mean we have hit the jackpot. They do mean we have completed this part of the process which means we can now start the next part. It means we can move forward with some hope but no guarantees.

Nomlungu. If you are suggesting they have not tested it within the recognised parameters for the industry

Could you perhaps explain how they should have tested it. It would seem you are a glass half empty type of person. Not sure why someone who owns a share would be negative about what seems to be a relatively positive RNS.

The issue is with a 20% spread nobody will buy. Why would you want to be 20% down as soon as you push the buy button. The spread on this share is prohibitive to buying.

It is good news. Annoys the hell out of me that we then go back to a 20% spread so if buying more you are down straight away by a disproportionate amount. Merry Christmas everyone and fingers crossed for next year.

At least the have reduced the spread. It makes people more likely to buy when they are not 15% from the moment they press the buy button

I heard the MRE was SO big that gold will no longer be scarce and it's that, that is reducing the current gold price. :)

We should rebrand as a water company and then we extract all the crap out the mine and dump it in the river with no problem at all. Simples :)

The predictions for the POG over the next 5 years are extremely positive. Perhaps we are saving the gold in the ground until such time as gold hit $3500 dollars an ounce and then with a low AISC we will be very profitable and all make lots of money. :)
