Gordon Stein, CFO of CleanTech Lithium, explains why CTL acquired the 23 Laguna Verde licenses. Watch the video here.
EarlofAim I really hope you are right but HMG have proven themselves to be liars. IF they approach us we should ask for money up front and for them to clear their account of the money they currently owe us. Compensating shareholders would be nice but I know that won't happen
Thanks just e-mailed...
An unbelievable situation we find ourselves in. How is the UK short of LFTs. Perhaps the answer lies within the UKRTC. Are the BBC even aware that the government has ignored the capabilities of British companies such as Abingdon Health, Avacta and Omega Diagnostics. The UK has the ability and capacity to provide itself with UK designed and built tests. Instead we choose to run out of tests sourced from China that the FDA in America refuse to use. Why are we using second rate tests when better ones are available in the UK. Designed in the UK, built in the UK, available for the UK but ignored by HMG. It is a scandal or should be. Will the BBC investigate?
Rob_ in my opinion ABDX have remained silent about being let down by HMG and having to reduce their workforce because DHSC failed to pay them for tests that we had supplied. Granted they are RNSing other things but no one, other than the shareholders here, are aware of the disgraceful way our government have treated the UK diagnostic industry whilst wasting billions of UK taxpayers money on chinese LFTs. With all of the rhetoric of Brexit that preceded covid I thought we would use our companies first.
It's a shame that someone from ABDX won't make a statement confirming we have plenty capacity but HMG refuse to order from UK companies and still owe us money. Not sure why ABDX are staying quiet
Eastside I agree that there are plenty in poorer parts of the world that would benefit from the vaccine. I think that vaccines would be best used giving the older and vulnerable people in these countries their first and second dose rather than dosing children( who are generally not at risk) in "richer" countries. Use the vaccines for those most at risk
Went out in Birmingham tonight. Broad Street was dead. 1 week before Christmas and restaurants were empty. Supposed to be at an El'Divo concert at the Utilita Arena. It was cancelled at very short notice. If we don't do something soon the UK will be bankrupt. Hospitality will not survive on the meagre numbers that are trying to carry on. Get vaccinated they told us this time last year, get a second jab then a 3rd. Approximately 80% of the UK vaccinated and still we have record number of infections. What HMG doing is not working. Something has got to change. As Red says in Shawshank Redemption we have to "get busy living or get busy dying" Take an accurate LFT if you're positive stay home and if your negative get on with living.

"Simple solution, let people choose. No vaccine, no hospital bed their choice."
and those that choose to smoke should not get cancer treatment, the obese should not be treated for diabetes. The lethargic and lazy should not be treated for heart attacks. Don't go in the sun or we won't treat for skin cancer. Take drugs no treatment, try to commit suicide -let them die.....
Marvellous idea???
If I am sat next to you on an aeroplane or at a gig I do not care if you are vaccinated or not. You don't care if I am vaccinated or not. What matters is Do you have covid today and therefore can you give me covid-?
Much rather sit in a room full of people who have taken an accurate LFT that day than in a room of people where we are all fully vaccinated and can still catch and spread covid of any variant.
Sorry not sure if already discussed but the whole thing seems to be escalating..

BDD we will soon be getting a TR1. Good for you.
Of course it's going up. We make LFTs in the middle of a pandemic where the whole world needs LFTs. What could possibly go wrong ( smiley face emoji & ironic tone)
Is the closing price not 2.3 and the bid 2.25. So bang in the middle with the ask being 2.35. I guess therefore no real way of knowing.
