The upstart company, only founded last month, is planning a lithium-ion battery gigafactory and has stated: “Verkor was founded in response to the growing gap between the expected demand for batteries and the expected European supply.”

That gap, driven by anticipated strong demand in Italy and Spain, as well as France, will drive the need for up to three such factories on French soil alone this decade, according to the start-up.

In addition to its graphite interests, Armadale Capital has a 1.5% royalty on gold sales achieved from the Mpokoto Gold Project in the Democratic Republic of the Congo which is being developed by Arrow Mining Pty Ltd. The Company also has a small portfolio of quoted investments, principally in gold production companies, where the directors believe there are opportunities for capital gain.
The project has a current total mineral resource of 678,000oz gold (‘Au’) from 14.58m tonnes @ 1.45g/t Au at a cut-off grade of 0.5g/t to produce approximately 25,000oz per annum over a nine-year mine life.

Gold price has broken $2000oz, Acp have a share in the Mpokoto gold project too!
