Closing a short would be buying back the shares and likely result in a positive SP movement.

Very vulnerable at these prices from a number of potential suitors. Linde, RWE, one of the major oilers looking for diversification. Sadly at these levels it would be a very cheap one and most shareholders out of pocket.

I would expect current cash in the bank to be £195 million. Year end (30th April 24) was £230 million with a loss of around £3.5 million per month. Dennis is cautious on guidance and has previously improved cash controls so I’d expect £175-180 million at full year results. Regardless of exact figures, the company is sitting at virtually a 0 enterprise value.

I’m baffled by how bearish the market has gone on hydrogen stocks, particularly ITM and CWR given their very strong cash positions and advanced product lines.

I’m hoping this is just a game by the MM’s to mop up cheap stock and shaking out nervy holders before the trading update.

Well the market cap has shed £140 million since the last update so it looks like a slightly disappointing and underwhelming update is priced in and expected by the market.

Looking at AFC last month, they had taken a beating a jumped 40% in a couple of days on slightly better revenues than guidance. If ITM can demonstrate a similar result with some positivity in the outlook, the SP should have a strong move.

Very silly for another shorter to be opening up. Surely this is only getting started. Buyout would burn those shorts opened in recent weeks.

More institutions buying in at these prices. Can’t be long before we see some reflection in the share price given the upcoming catalysts.

Not that I’m really bothered with broker ratings but I find it strange how GS say sell with a price target of 40p when the share price is 34p. Surely that would be a buy or a hold rating with a cut price from their previous rating.

Shorts are leaving the building. Ennismore and Qube will be done by the trading update next week. Helikon are the stubborn ones. Hopefully they get burnt.

Given the big day in the clean energy stocks and the shorters starting to close here, we are going to see some positive movement this week. I would be surprised to see 45p pre trading update and hopefully Dennis and the team knock it out of the park.

Qube have also started to reduce their short. Only Helikon who haven’t budged.

I will be adding further this week in advance of the trading update. A bad update is priced in, therefore a trading in line or an upgrade will result in a bounce.

Ennismore are on their way to exiting position (now below 0.5%) and it would be sensible for the other two to start closing given they have made a ton of money and the market cap is now sitting at cash levels. Any positive sentiment shift in sector or contracts from ITM will shift the SP in a flash and eat away at their gains.

I’ve added more. EIT upping by 1% every two weeks since October. Should see some buying pressure into December and January with addition to the main index.

That’s a very good write up and highlights the significant discount to NAV.

Low 160s is just ludicrous. Can’t fathom how we are still stuck here. Should be trading at least double this following the KAR-XT approval and Seaport’s latest raise.

Bloom Energy just jumped 40% (+$1.5 billion in cap) on 1GW supply in the US.

There has been a number of large sells in the last three sessions with individual trades around £70-90,000 (between 200-250k shares) which has likely weighed the share price down. Another one through early doors.

The difference is that when the share price was 400p, the company had an EV of nearly £2 billion. As of today it’s £0-10 million based on cash in the bank with significant progress in the infrastructure and technology.

There is a clear sentiment shift out of renewables given Trumps win but that won’t last long. All it takes is for ITM to be part of a UK or German project and the snap back in SP will be swift.

Whilst many are focusing on Trump, the US isn’t make or break for ITM right now. The areas to aim for should be Europe for immediate revenues. In four years, the landscape could be much better in the US with a different administration and then ITM will have an established and well commercialised model to scale into that market.

I listened in to the conference and our CEO could put an insomniac to sleep. I prefer Elenko and much preferred Daphne in articulating the story. No new information as such, just reiterated the LYT100 and LYT200 news by YE.

No logic so I’ve added. I’d be worried if Cooley was still in charge. He had no control on finances or direction and the company have been raising in late 25-early 26. Dennis is the right man to steer the company forwards and there is plenty of time and cash with his approach to navigate any short term choppiness in the sector.
