Imagine WHO approval for the Mologic antibody test. Would be huge. Would be interesting to see if they have attempted to break the US market with it. Anyone aware if this was the plan considering Mologic have an office there.

Just remember how sought after this test is regardless of MHRA approval. We know the government has put in a holding order so the UKRTC can ordered all the materials needed to crack on with manufacturing. Even if its split £5mill for the first 1m tests and £5mill for the materials for the next order, the next order will be huge.
The reason for this is not having to use a lab to process results. The underlying problem with all test capacities if labs not being able to process results quick enough. This test is now setting the standard for all covid tests moving forward. The success of the UKRTC IMO will lead to them being responsible for the delivery of the rapid antigen tests also - hopefully Mologic and Avacta get brought in with the agreement. Maybe this is why the new agreements are taking a bit longer......

I wonder if they have had to put that disclaimer about it not being 100% accurate so people don't then think they can ignore the government guidelines. You know what some people are like they would be like right I've had it I'm fine to go and ignore the rules now.

ODX have a manufacturing agreement for all of the Mologic corona virus tests. They have completed the technical transfer of the Elisa antibiody test, the lateral flow antibody test and in the future will complete the transfer of the antigen lateral flow (saliva test). My understanding is we are waiting for design freeze before the technical transfer will take place but I think we are ahead of Avacta as the prototype has been trialed at Heathrow - according to Colin king the trial went well.
The positive of our agreement with Mologic is we actually sell the product with our own branding and I assume pay Mologic a percentage per sale - this is better than just being a manufacturer for them as profit margins are higher. All of the above is my understand but JAdam or Regulator will likely know more.....
