Agree, we are (if in a market cycle that was bullish) would probably be happy with a tide taking along to a 3 yr high.
Instead, we are in a good position with prospects... but in a weak market. If (and I have faith in James and team), we set the good work for the future now, then when that proverbial market tide turns (suspect next year Q2-3), we will be earning, no debt, hopefully in larger joint ventures.
Patience... yes, can be difficult, but it took a long time for those real beauties of diamonds to form as well.
I think there are significant and understandable safety concerns at present in regard MARs. They have indicated in RNS's that it is 'better than expected' in regard results. I know, from source that a lot more is going on. I think they are trying to get everything set for larger RNS's. In regard fundraising, I suspect that current new revenue will suffice from MARs, and that this change of NOMAD is because 'larger plans' are being made with future partners, in new Joint Ventures. I hope that helps.
I'm at my max, but otherwise would also. News will appear, soon and sure enough. MARs findings are as expected, new opportunities appearing at MARs... that Water License is last thing, then on to Thorny River. We are now, explorers and miners :)
Agree, there is, a number of opportunities. TR is there, ready, just Water License is taking its time. But it can see excellent returns as a JV. Equally MARs as a holding ground, looks to be as expected, with potential blows and undiscovered areas. News will come, but when ready/able to be disclosed. The diamond market is in crappy way, but the world is. Things will change. We are in stage 2 development from just explorer to JV miner. Patience... is king. I have communicated with James quite a few times, it seems he like us would wish for things to be speedier in the world of permits/red tape, but they are what they are and the BOD team are doing what they can to move forward.
Glad to see alongside yourself Ziquarat and myself, a few others have decided to buy in at this price. We are waiting, but good news is soon to be announced, with Thorny River 'ready' to be mined and revenue increasing from that started at MARS.
Absolutely! Mine is a decent bitter! I'll reciprocate the pint :-)
ThornyRiver - I have bought a grand more this week, but many of us are already holding fairly substantial amounts. BOD is pretty much and people such as ourselves. The sells are in the scheme of the MCAP... very tiny. BUT, it does move that SP around a lot. Also, if you wanted to buy say £10k... you probably couldn't... as the amount in float is small. The SP is of course important, but only as such over a longer period than a few weeks. 8 weeks ago, we were around 1.10p.
The general market has seen downward pressure... lack of news has been a concern, but I think that is more likely because a lot is going on, and we hope to see the fruition from that. Given the shares held, the amount moving is fairly small in values. It is churning because of course you are correct, the lack of RNS news means many are feeling jittery... which is understandable... except, the news out has been MARS positive, TR is next, just waiting on final pieces of paper I believe... then off we go. Prior to where we were, we were an explorer only. Now, we are still an explorer but also a miner, with funds coming in. The markets/rest have not noticed this yet... but will when the next RNS's come out with figures/permits etc. Patience is difficult, but in BOD that is needed.
Worth looking at James's slide show from yesterda- https://www.slideshare.net/JamesAHCampbell1/attracting-funds-to-develop-the-diamond-potential-of-southern-africa
