I'm really annoyed about Awkward & the graphite deflection when targeting Ni PGM and the audacity to post mineralised core photo's on Twitter turned out to be a C o S.

There's a rapidly approaching problem on Obonga which is they have 18 months to complete 8,000m of drilling and frankly you'd have to be pretty dumb to fund it.

Can't disagree with anything said.

Next week they should be reporting on the current drill, 3 general scenarios:

1) It finds high grade mineralisation, happy days!
2) It finds the NP/DK mineralisation layer which is good for future exploration but is non-commercial
3) It again fails to find the NP/DK, in which case they continue drilling or just sit on the info for another week figuring out where to go next.

BT will limp on with scenario 2 but scenario 3 will be fatal for BT and the share price.

Are there any plans for an interview with Ben Turney @ Kavango Resources, its the junior explorer that's not very good at exploration?

Mindea have been drilling now for 18-20 days and baring any down time should be either approaching, at or even past the D'Kar/Ngwako Pan contact. If a good result then should hear in the next 2 working days although I suspect there will be a non-descript core photo, commentary and cores being sent for assay. KAV will have a good idea of grades so perhaps watch the follow up interview and look for body language. Another key finding will be if the D'Kar/Ngwako Pan contact matches the CSAMT and in some respects this is more important than finding commercial mineralisation.

I think a strategic review is required on the Obonga green belt.

Is graphite the end result of the Awkward drills which were targeting Ni PGM remember the Lac Des Iles analogy or are there assays to come?

One drill out of 5 found good grades, is this interesting or approaching commercial?

The very significant difference to 082 is depth, these targets are 150-200m and high grade which is the holy grail in KCB.

Has LSE gone woke is " f a g packet" offensive?

Fund raising was pre PL082 campaign, holes 1-5 did not find mineralisation so the SP reflects that progress. If they find commercial mineralisation then yes shares a steal.

Hole 6 c200m pre Christmas, been drilling for the last 2 weeks, *** packet calculation says they're at c550m so they're expected to reach the mineralisation zone either now or in the next few days, it could be anywhere in 550-650m zone. Predicting drill schedules is just a finger in the air.

The Molopo angle is interesting although POW shareholders have spent $500K(?) on the latest campaign and would be entitled to any added value which in the Paul Johnson world means $10m (I jest). IMO POW got a very good for Kanye so maybe KAV gets mates rates.

Ping: don't disagree about KAVs underlying strength but my fear is we get to Nov/Dec and BT issues a billion shares in acquisitions/2024 funding, meanwhile the mediocrity on the ground continues. I want the share price to be 10p rather than 0.5p.

BT is the 43 year old child in a sweet shop trying to manage a business from 5,500 miles away.

If BT wants to restore confidence then:
1) Move to Botswana for 6 months a year.
2) No more dilution for at least 12 months
3) Stop the obsession with pitching and deal making
4) Announce a plan to drill B1,3&4 by the beginning of March
5) Show evidence of capital rationing and target prioritisation, cull licences if necessary. £3.5m is peanuts so use wisely.
6) Appoint a senior NED plus one other NED
7) Get rid of Smith & Gumbo
8) Ensure an exec is on the ground at all times whilst drilling takes place.
9) Reduce comms but make what you say important, gotta stop the bull't.
10) Turney needs to say 'my key focus is creating shareholder value by developing the most promising targets from our existing portfolio' and forget he ever said "my duty is to Kavango"

The obvious bad news is PL082, drill 6 either fails to complete, doesn't find the DK/NP (major issue), or most likely finds moderate grades @550-650m. I don't think the movement today is leaky ship, its one seller + the low level shorting operation. The current drill started 10-13 days ago from 200-217m and is said to be "technically difficult", there are quite a few variables so news should fall into a window 30th Jan-13th Feb, more likely 2nd week in Feb.

The positive scenario is they locate DK/NP as per CSAMT c550m and find 50m interval @+2%Cu 15g/t Ag.

It sounded like they were re-evaluating B1 which was odd because they finished drilling 11.5 months ago and have covered the area in CSAMT.

The real reason is Ben wants to include the drill in the JV so it gets the value rather than existing KAV shareholders, why, 1) BT is a poor negotiator, under pressure to do a deal so he sweetens it with B1, and 2) it might be a duster and that kills northern KSZ and any chance of a JV.

Pretty much all KAV shareholders think it should be immediately drilled, the Molopo crew should be finished in the next couple of weeks.

So why aren't you buying?

"Blaming their team in twitter was a highlight for me" The inescapable fact was a series of issues with Mindea's mobilisation but more importantly the geophysics AEM. KAV had long shown a slide comparing PL082 with the Khoemacau Banana Zone, it was the basis of the acquisition (LVR GeoExplorers )and the drill targeting. The first 4 drills were RC to c100m and because of the sequencing the AEM problem didn't crop up until drill 5 when they basically kept drilling. KAV did have CSAMT before drill 5 commenced so arguable they knew the AEM or possibly the CSAMT were flawed but they had the benefit of the Sandfire calibration. KAV's geophysics at the time was run by KAV co-founder Hillary Gumbo and if anything BT has admitted but massively down played the AEM failure(s).

I'm more concerned with BT gaslighting shareholders for calling a shambles a shambles.

KAV have made personnel changes. BT has downplayed drill 6 and is taking a pragmatic approach based on the outcome of drill 6. The soil sampling found copper traces so it has to come from somewhere? Drill 6 was at c200m when drilling restarted over a week ago and I'm guessing the target zone is 550-650m so they should reach this between 30th Jan to 13th Feb, the most likely date is 6-13th Feb (3-4 weeks after drilling started).
