As the clock counts down on EG-08 drill commitment (October 25) and Inishkea licence expiry (Jan 26) it looks increasingly likely that the main assets of this company will be Wressle and Cloughton. As shareholders, are we happy to support this strategy and if not, what can we do about it? The board needs to pull a Plan B out of the hat before the next AGM.

So if any potential partner waits till October so that we are unable to make that commitment they can bid for the lapsed licence and not have to carry Antler?

According to the announcement of Europas investment in Antler, the PSC was ratified on 4 October 2023 and is effective for 4 years with a drill or drop at the end of the 2nd year. As we are unlikely to spud a drill by October, do we lose the licence if it is not extended?

Hi Brezhnev I have submitted a query asking what interactions have taken place with the new Irish govt to promote domestic gas vs LNG or to extend the Inishkea licence beyond Q126 so we should have the answer soon

Hi Serif if they are in active discussions I would expect that would be sufficiently material to get a mention in the interims. I might have missed it but all I read was increased interest from other companies and a change in attitude from the Irish govt, both passive 3rd party statements

@itsawrap please don’t encourage Will to waste even more time on Cloughton vs Ed Milliband . Hopefully he knows that he will be out of a job if he doesn’t land Inishkea and EG by the next AGM.

Why would a potential farm in partner not just bid for their own blocks in the next licensing round rather than carry us? Surely it can’t be for access to our world class technical team based on their recent success?

WH seems to be taking a very passive approach to Ireland. Surely we should be initiating discussions with prospective farm in partners, especially Vermillion, and meeting the new minister Darragh O’Brien.

Interesting Flombo. I have often wondered how 'our seller' could trade those volumes without triggering holdings notifications - I (naively) assumed that notifications were mandatory and enforced. Is there any way we can out this bad actor if your hypothesis is correct?
