Excuse my ignorance but who is he and why has it taken him 11 months to notify of this significant holding? Any great significance?
OK so the placing we expected (several weeks ago) has finally and belatedly come and at such a discount of 57.1%. Yet it is actually so much greater than that as Cheek told us it would be necessary and instantly the SP plummeted. Then as time dragged on and we got the wild theories (you know who you are) and no news the SP continued to drop lower and lower. I'm no expert and I am suffering here but why anyone would buy before this announcement is beyond me.
So, we have GDR with two great opportunities (one fairly soon assuming full NICE recommendation in July) and one 12-24 months off. In between we should see some progress.
Assuming GDR raises the gross £8m or so how long will that actually last? Cash burn is £400k per month? We need some pretty instant results post July.
Director buys - their stated commitment is pathetic and is a negative signal. If they were not wanting to be seen to be cashing in on their ineptitude they have failed by implying it isn't worth serious money being risked.
James Cheek - criminal? Inept? Scoundrel? Telling the market we need to raise then not doing so is naive at best and more likely inept or fraudulent. He ought to be dragged before the authorities but won't be. He absolutely must be sacked at the next opportunity.
So, these are my thoughts, now to consider whether to buy at 1.5p.
He is a disciple of snake oil salesman David Lenigas. He did a long apprenticeship and has become a master. Yet to see him achieve anything (other than a ridiculous salary at various companies for repeated failure).
The continued silence and absence of any update or figures is of grave concern. WallbrookPR has forgotten what PR stands for and Penny has confirmed exactly what she thinks of shareholders.
Hopefully when the next news is released we will hear enough positivity (and reality) in the talk and numbers to see the SP start to recover. It appears to be very undervalued based on the cash pile but the lack of progress is galling.
I've sent an e-mail to WallbrookPR asking when we can expect to see the results and any communication from Penny and a sign that the SP might rise.
Let's see if an answer is forthcoming and more importantly the results are out soon so I can decide whether to hold, buy or sell.
Been a dog of a share to own so far and the lack of leadership, communication and interaction with shareholders is damning. The new products do not appear to be gaining any real commercial traction but maybe they will show that all is about to change. The SP is lower than it ought to be but frankly there is nothing from the company that warrants anything else.
Why? Seriously, he may go too far but the idiotic spamming of Wise x 2 is equally ridiculous.
From that RNS:
The Geomet management team, in conjunction with DRA Global, is reviewing these matters. The Company expects to make a further announcement before the end of April 2024 detailing some of the more significant issues.
This rather suggests that we get further detail as to the delay and what needs to be done. I do not see any evidence that the DFS will be released but rather that it is significantly delayed and even KC hasn't given a timeline for it as yet. Maybe that is the cynic in me but I have no expectation of a DFS much before end Q2 at the earliest. I hope I'm wrong but the April announcement needs to have some facts and more than a little hope about it to arrest the SP decline.
Mr Joshing_man - Who make you CENSOR of BB?
No-one but I too am able to offer an opinion and clearly it is one that is shared. Who made YOU the SAGE of the BB? See how this works?
I do not have problem with Mr Skelly and like to read his post. I put my view down - No problem.
This is what DISCUSSION about! 😏
It is - except when it is repetitive and one-sided (whether for or against). I have liked some of your posts and some of Skellys (not his more personal attacks on KC and his divorce though). However, the long-winded and self-righteous pumping that has gone on is as bad as the overly negative opposite.
New people need to know but if you want to do a decent long summary then fine but the daily drivel is too much for me and I suspect many.
I have been here a long time. Made some good money and failed to take a huge profit but I do believe it will come good. It would be great if that were sooner rather than later though and without the BS that KC comes out with. Honesty from him would have saved some of the SP drop and the antagonism felt by some towards him.
How about WiseOwlSpeak and Skelly85 agree a period of silence/a ceasefire until the end of April rather than clogging up the board with regurgitated arguments and counter-arguments?
We all await the statement by end of April (I read this as no more than an explanation). Once delivered perhaps both could succinctly give their view (preferably once!) As we await the DFS hopefully before end Q2.
We all wish KC and CEZ would just get on with it and most of us are deeply frustrated by the elongated timeframes but surely we know the pros and cons by now?
Sadly, this is not a surprise. The disappointment is that KC tried to hide the reality of what is going on and has tanked the SP. His BS timelines are nothing other than arrogance and a disdain for us small PI's.
However, that said, it appears from the wording that the DFS is basically done and complete and positive. There are environmental issues that need tweaking to satisfy various interested bodies and this shouldn't be an issue and is likely to be beneficial. A lack of clear and unequivocal guidance on timing is a continuing bug bear and will see further SP decline.
I expect it will reverse swiftly but whether the days of £1 hoping for £2 will ever return is doubtful as long term holders will bail as they make decent profit. Anyone buying in now (after the assumed drop occurs) will see a lot of profit.
All true Greenmachine67 but the DFS is seriously late in arriving and the latest 'promised' date looks like it will be missed. This is more than unfortunate and smacks of incompetence rather than simply the issues you rightly raise. As for Tom I believe he has spoken with Keith but that is a privilege not afforded to most shareholders. He hasn't answered any of my polite e-mail enquiries to him and being in the UK attending the AGM isn't really a possibility.
Hmm. Reassuring to some extent but you would hardly to expect her to say anything else. She is not in a position to say 'yep, there is substance to the SP drop and the need for a dilutive fund raise'. To shore up the SP we need a substantive positive RNS that gives confidence that all is well and on track. Anything less is not likely to assuage the markets fears.
Keith should absolutely be held to account. I've e-mailed many times with no response. He has not led the project for the last few years since CEZ has been in charge and appears helpless (or unwilling) to do or say anything). I assume we are at the whim of the EU and then CEZ.
No idea why Skelly goes on about the divorce. If he thinks it dodgy with regards to the shares then he should pursue the matter with the authorities. That just smacks of bitterness unless he is willing to state facts openly on the board.
Turn your PC off or get out of the share. You pumped £3 and panicked over a 25% drop.
I could have sold at a £1 for a huge profit. I could have sold at 50p for a decent profit, I could have sold today for a small profit. I didn't. My choice, my mistake.
However, I am angry and disappointed with how things are. I feel let down by Keith and have e-mailed him to express my disgust at the delay and his apparent tardiness in telling us. Maybe it helped save his skin on the BOD?
Will it come good? Probably. Will the DFS occur Q1 2024? Fifty fifty at best. Is it all politics with the useless EU and Cez looking to get us on the cheap? Possibly, but realistically we should be at least 50p (in my simple opinion) and £1 ought to be the starting point for a bid, but when did any of that 'logic' ever matter?
Holding for now in the hope I get back to decent profit.
I have e-mailed Keith for the third time (no response to previous 2 e-mails). It may be fanciful to expect a response but as what I have asked is not speculative or prying for information perhaps he will finally respond. I have asked for an answer re "(a) Tranche 1: on or before 31 December 2022, the Company receiving confirmation in writing in the form of a letter or other official correspondence from the federal government of Germany (or a department acting with delegated authority) or the Saxony regional government of Germany that it will formally support the Cinovec Project and the supply of lithium products from the Cinovec Project into Germany and use its best endeavours to assist the Cinovec Project in permitting and funding, apart from other factors." Surely we are entitled to know the outcome?
I continue to hold and hope for SP growth but the lack of communication and progress is a worry.
... because we are paying all the costs??
What is going to spark some positive share price action? Dramatic fall in August followed by slow drift to boredom. What catalyst or piece of news will see this start to return to previous levels - even 50p rather than the £1 mark? I've been fortunate to take profit here but so disappointing to see the drop over the months. Any thoughts and/or predictions?
I still support KC and have followed up an unanswered e-mail from the end of July with another one today seeking some reassurance and requesting an uptick in communication.
The best response would be to see some real progress and a leap in the SP - that would be good!
