Chris Heminway, Exec-Chair at Time To ACT, explains why now is the right time for the Group to IPO. Watch the video here.
The SL recovery continues with the sp hovering around the 315p mark now, bet those who sold at 285p aren't feeling too great!
Well after hitting low's in the mid 280's, SL is recovering well, back up to 307p now. I stand by my theory of profit taking after bonus share issue together with general market sentiment drove the sp down. From here I would hope to see SL back in the 320/330 range next week provided the markets stay stable.
Hi Davius, yep markets very unsettled at the moment and some potential bargains to be had, IEC being one, TAN at 157p is very cheap but as with other stocks may have further to fall, CHL though continues to be strong and still would recommend that as a buy.
You still in these?
Hi, I have been watching these tumble also, firstly I think that those who have held for a year have got bonus shares and sold the lot - making a v. good profit and markets are a little shaky about interest rates which makes SL wobble. Some months back I think they dropped under 300p only to rise again, I wouldn't worry too much yet, they should be fine. I believe latest broker target is 350p so that is good to know.
My punt in these was my second worst ever (after NLX), sp down to 6.5p now, could be along wait this one!!
Hi Chan, thanks for this, my buy at 16.5p last week making a nice profit now, sp up a further 9% so far today!! This one is looking good!
Hi Chan, thanks, and you. Great minds think alike eh....., have AST and BGT on radar, very nearly bought BGT yesterday, to return the favour I am watching PAN and POGL, and am in on AFE.
Hi Chan, reason I spotted it was that it came up on the toplist radar, monitored on realtime for a while, read a bit on ADVN and took plunge after only a brief investigation, not for faint hearted though, struggled to buy at all, eventually at 4p, sp then dropped to 3p, then as mentioned earlier stormed away selling at 5.75p, some on ADVN reckon it will do same again today but I don't want to push my luck! Good luck if you fancy it, after earlier falls seem to be climbing again.
It certainly has, exited last night at 5.75p, a nice 50% profit!!
bought late, at 4p, haven't had time to do much research, but rumoured to jump again tomorrow! Maybe not too late, hardly any shares around
Anyone else in these??
tough call indeed, seems to be rising slightly now though, will watch for a while....
Cheers Chan, well the fall came as quick as the rise, a very well timed exit, unlike in TRAC, could have made a mint on that!!
Offer price now 34.5p, still falling, not buying in yet.
After a lot of watching yesterday I finally bit the bullet today and bought at 27p, just sold at 34p, I can't understand the massive rise because they are doing a further placement at 10p and it was a very nervy 30 mins, but a 25% profit - thankyou very much WADH!
Anyone else in this? Launch of TRIBRID Power Pack Traction Technology Plc ("Traction" or "the Company"), a designer and deliverer of environmentally friendly, low emission Series Diesel Electric Hybrid engine systems, announces the launch of a new 'TRIBRID' product range for bus operators. TRIBRID is a power pack that has the ability to draw on three separate power sources for use in bus engines. When the TRIBRID Power Pack is in use, power is automatically managed between the diesel power unit, conventional batteries or from Supercapacitors. Supercapacitors are very high value capacitors that can store much larger amounts of energy, to the point where they can act like batteries and propel the bus. They are capable of millions of charge and discharge cycles at high currents which make them highly suitable for hybrid vehicles. The TRIBRID, by blending these three sources of energy, optimises the efficiency of the bus as it can vary the horse power, energy usage or battery capacity of the bus to suit all requirements. Traction's development bus, an Optare Solo fitted as a TRIBRID, began road testing on 4th July 2007, and will be demonstrated first at the CENEX event at Leeds on 20th July 2007, a UK Government initiative supported by the Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform (formerly the DTI). Traction Technology's Technical Director, Richard Cooke commented; "Supercapacitors, with
