The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
50p was an example figure
If we have news in the next few weeks and the sp did something we all want it to... would the consolidation still go ahead or could the bod change their minds as a higher sp x 50 would be too high.
Im not expecting this but deffo like the green showing as even though .4p it feels good....
Exciting as it looks lets wait and be patient.
It could hit 3.5p and slide back or keep going up.
Likewise be a tempter to free up more shares as some of us sell as a climb out of the recent lows.
I do like the fast climbs so hoping this skyrockets too but also on little news to go with it
Then again, what if the sp hit 50p pre cons... would there still be a need to consolidate if the sp goes to a high enough price as wouldnt be a great a need
Deffo good to have some rises as it looks like a share on the move and more will invest so good for mms. It also adds interest and gets the share mentioned as a big mover so perhaps the low was manufactured to exaggerate the rise
This also springs to mind
Local councils increase their spending in the last 2 months to get a bigger budget.
The hnwis may need to have a loss to save on tax and i wonder if any other investors or BOD etc
Come the new tax year in April the gains can start again.. maybe its holding back news etc so everyone can benefit in the new tax year
Still a dilemma as whether to hold or sell
Reinvest elsewhere or part sell and part reinvest or buy back at a lower price which is a risk against the SP going up.
So many options available and routes to take without direction from Bods... we are all in the same boat with the same options...
Hindsight or a crystal ball please
Ive never really looked at this section before and would just look at individual trades for the day.
The shares are still being bought and overall 90k down today so far there have been a large number of buys.
.perhaps the share was oversold before and now balancing out.
If further drops are expected then would PH or brokers want to buy now rather than at a further drop
Or is the SP ready to bounce back again with the new buys.
Makes me wonder if a pump and dump process to keep the hnwis happy and an opportunity to offload or whether the deals are going to be announced.
Something is happening and we are guessing at all options
Im just wondering if the sp has been fixed for them at a low entry price without the shares available for the quantity they want
I mean...water down the sp so we all sell out or a majority of our holdings and the shares are snapped up by the hnwi... perhaps as a top up for any previous losses they have had and then the sp goes up to 5p again with a new set of investors
The bod had to sell as per agreement but wonder why at 6p and not 10p...... they must have known the route they were taking at that time and the end date for them to sell was March 22 i believe... coincides with the consolidation date..
They have done presentations etc and no reason other than not to slip up at all as to why they have kept quiet.
I guess its worth asking about other big gain investments your all aware about as a consideration...
Im holding on as no doubt if i sellout the sp will be at 8p...hold on and 1p...
This could be at anything and hopefully a good rns to get the momentum going up again
Topped up at 10p to average at 15p so in a few hours to see me down to 5p isnt good. Isa have some at 80p which seems a long way off!
Will a 1m sale drive the sp up as good news and get some momentum
I have to say That is a positive step and being resourceful so hopefully more to follow
Well... its been a rollercoaster journey so far
Wondering what to expect in the next few weeks prior to a possible consolidation
Could the SP rally towards 8p perhaps and then a 400p x50 consolidation = the MM will determine the new sp and what has been agreed etc but that would be a good start and allow room to dilute further whilst providing a strong enough SP to look good
I wonder if the results are ready and news is being held back with the finer details to confirm which will be released shortly after a consolidation
Makes me wonder if the sp will be watered down to relaunch then on the back of good news perhaps get to 400p and create momentum
That certainly would get investors noticing and im sure cant be far away from bigger news than the likes of sng and ncyt had a few years ago.
I struggle to see the sp staying low for long enough however even though ive said id like more from the bod perhaps the last rns about the consolidation just has a few hints to say what will happen like they have things lined up already rather than hoping
The BOD are looking to change the route they are taking.>The Consolidation is a big thing and something that has been instigated and taken time. The bod will have had to make a decision and take time to bring this aboutI dont think it is unreasonable to ask them to provide more details and be upfront with shareholders. It may not be what they specialise in however they can surely put a few statements out.How can you vote yes or no blindly on the details provided and the only info is provided by opinions of what could be. This needs to be better to attract future investors
Aberystwyth its too much guesswork but that spunds a good option as there would be the minimum price to sell which hopefully will be higher than when placed.
I guess to keep the curre t hnwis happy the sp cant drop too low. Perhaps it will keep dropping over the next few weeks so many of us sell and create those shares for another investor to get in at a lower price
I cant sell now as i can see the sp bouncing to 8p again...keep them and be back at 2p but all short term as i guess the plan is to have a more profitable share overall so perhaps we will be netter off than current
Are we talkimg about new investors in the shares or actually partners for products developed...
New investors are for Aim as thats where investing on..
Sar has been diluting shares for hnwis by creating more shares which have impacted the sp and thats the way
If we consolidate it will look great for a while as will start at a high sp such as £4 to keep us happy and interested which sar wont benefit from directly as no cashflow from it
New investors wont pay £4 per share on current newsflow or how its done
What next
Create 2 million shares at lets say £1 per share that can be sold when sp hits £2 and diluting the overall sp to perhaps £1,50
Am i negative? Im usually positive but can only call this how i see it. There isnt much said and lack of directions from the BOD which surely if valued current investors would say more to help us make a educated decision with a vote and what is happening.
PH havent increased the communication lines either, no plans or strategy in place to say how they will operate or do things differently after a consolidation so i an only see a dilution.
No excuses for silence as PH have been brought in as share specialists.
Either way, we say the science is good based on snippets of info released and our own researchers. Based on that it is still a highly profitable share but a long route to success with plenty of turbelence... gla
Royal dutch shell price
What a jump in the last 2 years
11658.61% rise
absolutely gutted as i had some and sole out as on the decline
They are an established company with a high turnover
Just waiting for little sar to bring a few deals in and imagine the increase in sp
Gulf keystone have also recovered from a sar like slump 2 years ago
Lets hope sar can recover soon
I totally agree that the science is good and the reason for investing. No doubts there at all and wait in the results.
They are obviously good at science but would it be fair to say that they are poor at the business or stock market side?
Peel Hunt have been useless so far. The so called experts. Prove they have a concept that works before consolidating that actually stabilises and drives the sp up prior to consolidating is all im asking.
If not then we will see the same thing happen as it is now.
I would like to think that they are busy behind the scenes negotiating deals and pushing the product forward and will only release news when signed.
The wait continues and cant wait to see the opening price today and whats ahead this week... deffo the mm will minipulate the sp as we lead to a consolidation.
The mm would want a higher price to tempt a few note sales... then when the price changes it will look like a rise to new investors who will buy at a higher price
Hoping for a fun week
Are you sure that is the case as they become 2 different shares with the current warrants for shares that wouldnt exist
That is assuming the market would open up at 50x current price.
Remember, the current shares have been replaced on that ratio but the market would open at their value which may not be 50x the current price, just a higher price than now so perhaps 100p
Sng
Ncyt
Had great sp movement without consolidation
I vaguely remember valirx consolidating...
It sounds great but to say it will attract investors is poor as many companies not listed are successful.
Lloyds for exame trade at around 50p currently so its not about £s
My concern is this..
What else will they do and how will they operate
What are sar going to do differently to keep the sp at the higher price and why couldnt they do this currently.
When it climbed to 10p why did they let it drop and why has nothing been done to prevent this current drop?
They havent demonstrates enough to back up the reasoning provided to consolidate and actually prove what they are about now to justify it.
if they perform the same after a consolidation then expect the same to happen.
Why not put effort into the current sp and why has nothing been done. It doesnt fill me with confidence of maintaining the new price especially with the current lack of effort
The rns on the warrents which ive not fully read again...
Though how will it work as there was a part that said the sp had to reach a price for consecutive days
After a consolidation the sp will auto be at that sp x consecutive days
Likely to be a rise pre cons to allow the warrants to come in affect
Any thoughts on this
Ive not had chance to read it yet
However, i dont think the consolidation is to happen to benefit us the shareholders. If that was the priority then the sp would be much higher!
Drop the SP and wear us down to vote for a consolidation as we think it will be better...
Well.... consolidating at 3.9p is much better than at 10p and the mm definitely like that! The company also like it as it will show on charts etc as a massive increase in sp which looks good to investors and as a conpany profile
Peel hunt will have beem brought in to put this together and the sudden drops in the sp which we wont see any benefit from.
If the rate is 1 new share to replace 10 of our existing ones that will be at the new sp and not necessarily at 10x the current sp. It will a new share and whatever price it opens at. It could be 5x current price perhaps 20p for our 10 shares and not 40p as would expect.
Interesting times ahead
Looking at Sierra SP at around $28 id mention that on the back of their success will surely benefit Sar.
The 4p is to put alongside their SP to show how low the SP is in comparison and at 4p is definitely something to invest in. Obviously add a few more of what we have to entice them.
If you doubled on sierra would you not consider Sar at 4p and perhaps even sell 10% of your holding as 4p could turn that 10% into 20x profit.
Also at 4p is low risk in comparison to the $28 so many may think Sierra has hit the peak
LSE opened at 8am so hopefully alarms have been set and those heavily invested in Sierra and have enjoyed the sp rise will also invest here.
Could be a nice few days with a sharp sp rise prior to the majority of new buyers
If you have invested at $15 then what a bargain 15p would be
that was exciting to see and always nice to see a sharp rise however small it is
Fair enough its not the 10p heights of last year or the £1 we all think it should be at
However, a vertical line going up quickly which hoping for more of the same just looks good
