Remember ASD-2, TD could be this weekend.
Interesting point about BL doing nothing and sitting in back seat just watching and doing not a lot for his remuneration.
What does he actually do anyway.
If the bod did nothing, would anything change!
Anyway maybe you have a point about being undervalued and a TO target but it's important that production is stabilised and reported as such definitively.

Good chance that the ASD-2 well will reach TD this weekend or early next week.
Wouldn't expect any production updates until testing complete but it might help the sp if they confirm that it encountered oil.
Although not a fan of BL if the company can sustain production and be transparent then with the price of oil as it stands they must be able to pay their inflated wages, pay debt, pay for next well and still make a decent profit.

Nearly 2bn shares in settlement fees, including above, these will get flipped as soon as possible have no doubt about that.

So looks like ceg will have nearly 10bn shares in total but am I right in saying that could double to 20bn if shareholders agree.

These interviews are all set up to ask the right questions and fuel optimism, especially proactive ones.
Get interviewed by Crux investor if they want to be interviewed, no holding back with them.

Larkin does need to stop talking and start producing results, he's getting well paid for it especially for a company like uog.
That beggars the question about what the execs actually do to earn their bucks, and their very well paid.
In fact larkin took just over $400,000 last year and Leather and Quirke around $360,000 each and not only that but have given themselves a 40% pay rise for this year.
So what have they done for pi's?
Will they give themselves another pay rise for next year, finals in April will tell the tale.

It's all right keep on drilling new wells but if they cannot stop the decline in production then maybe its time to look elsewhere before it's to late.

Main event might be around 1st March when another 5bn shares join the already 3bn in issue by that time.
Its when the new institutional and other investors will try and flip their shares.
By the way there are no institutional investors on the major shareholders list at present in fact its 85% held in public hands.
They have to update list on 31st june and I bet there still won't be any institutions listed.

So I also wont be surprised to see the main misleading ramper reinvented in some form with the sole intention of getting the ii's their 10%+
Watch out for some rns's with empty promises to facilitate the disposal.

The asd-1x well took 24 days to drill to TD and results took 5 weeks to rns.
So the asd-2 may take a similar time to reach TD, around 20th feb.
It took around 5 weeks to rns test results so that would take it into end of March but could be earlier as its a follow up to an existing producing well.

These are just my observations and unless they pull something else from the hat, and they might but who knows, not expecting any news for a month or so.
One other thing is that when the asd-1x reached TD they did not rns it for about a week.

Strange how they had to pull the open offer because they would have to issue a prospectus as they had used up their ability to issue new shares and yet they just bypassed the rules with the broker option!

Eytan must have a massive grin on his face this morning knowing that the naive punters have secured his lifestyle for another year or until the next placing.

Probably see rampers out in force and more likely malcy will ramp as well so that the new 7bn shares can get flipped to more or even to existing naive punters, because thats what they rely on and it works.
Be careful with any rns's, pinch of salt.

Is it a concern

Is it just uog or the Ukraine Russia conflict and the market in general is tightening its belts.

Maybe even the fact that pinochio is still our leader, God help us if anything does happen.

Completely agree GG and that opinion is shared by many here no doubt.

Wouldn't be surprised if the conditional placing were to hit a brick wall.
Company is running on fumes, no prospects, regardless of what gets said in interviews etc.

Worth a small punt, no definately not one penny.

Remember conditional placing not finalised and to be honest wouldn't be surprised if that gets knocked on the head as most of it will be used to pay, debt,wages, directors redundancy and there will be about 6bn shares in issue and its going to be mayhem when they try to sell.

So maybe the new investors might think again as it looks like the public, who were banned from taking part in the placing wil be able to buy under 0.1p.
5bn shares a lot to get rid of in this company.
We'll see.

Must admit I've read with interest the comments here from shall we say both sides and both have made good points.

Not expecting much news soon except the result of the new well and believe they have already hinted that if successful it would produce up to 150 boepd so maybe that has been factored into todays price, not sure of course.
Don't think Jamaica is priced in one way or another and can't see it happening yet if ever.

Is company undervalued or not?

Think it comes down to production, is it stable or not and think that it is still unclear and certainly wasn't helped by BL's comment.
Also general market in limbo, Ukraine Russia and of course UK being led by coco doesn't help.

Final Results end April will put a defining line hopefully under production unless they provide a full operational update when they release news about the outcome of the current well they are drilling, that would be excellent.
But if they don't it will just fuel more concern as to why they don't just say exactly what production is.

Why now
It's placing shares being flipped.
Anyone participating in the placing is selling as quick as they can and once their done volume will drop and price will plummet again, sound familiar.

I'm really astonished that anybody would buy ceg.
Can't understand what people see in this company.

It only exists to provide pay packets at the end of every month for the bod, that is their main and only concern and don't think for one minute they care about shareholders.
But they are 'grateful' for all the support of their shareholders over the years, of course they are, would be in the dole queue otherwise, where they belong.

4 days prior to last rns over just over 2m shares traded

Looks like placing shares getting passed to the unsuspecting ceg directors lifestyle fund members.

Wonder if any past contributors here took part in placing.
Might have recovered losses.
