A finish somewhere between 22-24p today is is about right bearing in mind the highs wee saw throughout this week.

avocet, that's the best way to look at it, can be difficult to but that's how I'm trying to look at this week also.

I do indeed have faith, otherwise I would have sold at some point in the last 5 1/2 years but I didn't so just waiting for the BOD to deliver one day within the next 11 trading days then finally many of the shorters, doubters, deramping crews will have to find a different BB to frequent, looking forward to that almost as much as the large gains.

at 20.70 so a 0.70 gain this week so far, would have most probably taken that at the start of the week, at least the MM's have been able to stock up today so we should move back up to the 27-30p range easier hopefully anyway.

to see the sp finish the day close to where it started this morning, these shakes are just a ploy that MM's use to scare more inexperienced investors in to selling, seem it many many times over the years here.

We are still around 5 % up on this week, would have taken that Monday Morning at 7.59 am so all good.

Very nice volume again today, you will often see a little pull back in sp prior to news, hopefully we will finish as close to 24p as possible today then back up tomorrow to 25p + which will constitute a pretty good week overall.

If your theory is correct erorus then every year previously we would have seen much bigger volumes and the price rise 6 days in a row like we have had recently, I'm not sure if it is correct that each year we have always had this type of volume and rises, obviously if that is the case then I stand corrected.

I mean the last 6 days has been pretty consistent as you can see below:

Surely all of the recent articles must be off the back of something, even the derampy hit pieces haven't been appearing recently, guess as certain publications realise that the sp is likely to re rate significantly at some point within the next 12 trading days.

Have no doubt they will start again onve stage 2 is confirmed, I can see the headlines of the hit piece articles now which will be along the lines of " Will Sirius Minerals complete construction of mine on time and on budget?" or it will be the classic " Is there really enough demand for sirius's unproven product" and you can make up your own on many other aspects, I guess they have to keep coming up with new angles to get clicks, guess they are just trying to make a living like all of us but the difference is they do it in a immoral and dishonest way.

Anyway guessing anyone who is short or decided to wait as they thought they may be able to get in at 15p or less is now praying that there is a pull back, obviously I'm hoping the opposite and that the sp will test at least 27p again and ideally be low 30's before our stage 2 news hits one day in the next trading day, if it is as good as expected then the people currently not invested who could have bought under 20p 7 or 8 days ago will be paying minimum 40p imo.

GLA LTH's not long until the last 6 months of boredom and (for some of us) the last 6 years of patience will finally feel like it was worth the wait! ( 50p +)

Shares in Sirius Minerals jumped as much as 20 per cent on Tuesday ahead of a funding deadline for its $3bn potash project in North Yorkshire.

The London-listed company said last month it had received an “alternative” funding proposal from a major global financial institution. Sirius is trying to put the new package in place by the end of the month, when it also hopes to reveal how it will raise an $400m to $600m of equity to cover extra tunnelling costs. According to people familiar with the situation, the potential backer for the project is JPMorgan, one of the company’s main advisers.

It is not clear how the new debt package will be structured, but securing the money would be a big boost for Sirius.

The Woodsmith mine is the largest mining project in the UK for a generation. It involves sinking two 1.5km shafts below a national park on the North York Moors to access a huge deposit of polyhalite, a mineral that can be used as fertiliser. The ore will be extracted via the two mine shafts and transported to Teesside on a conveyor belt system via a 37km underground tunnel. It will then be processed and most of its shipped overseas.

After rising to 27p in early trading, Sirius was up 5 per cent at 23.30p at midday. “Our position hasn’t changed since the announcement of 12 March. Our discussions are ongoing with a major global financial institution and those discussions remain confidential,” Sirius said in a statement.

On Friday, Sirius will hold a naming ceremony for its first tunnel boring machine.

Would have taken another 5 % rise if you had offered it to me at 7.59am this morning, sometimes difficult to look at it like that when it was so much higher this morning but hopefully when stage 2 is confirmed the inevitable re rate will hold.

Can anyone c + p the FT article, was the indication that JPM are the global organisation who will be providing the stage 2 finance?

Iv'e been slacking in that regard recently due to circumstances I haven't been able to post closing price most days, won't be able to today unfortunately for example but I'm sure Alan or someone will step up to the plate.

15 % + finish would be good today, most probably being greedy but then again us LTH's have had many many painful days watching this sp so sod it, I'm hoping so see a closing price of 25p + at the end of today.

Oldhamboy, enough we the little intermittent derampy posts please, just bite the bullet and buy if you want to get involved, by hoping for retraces you always are taking a chance that you will be locked out forever.

Can anyone remember the biggest single day increase we have had in the last 5 years? the biggest I can remember is 21 % I think or maybe it was 27 % either way we have never been a stock for big one day gains % wise, hopefully that is about to change one day this month though.

I wasn't gloating at all, it was just a genuine question, presumably when the sp did hit 17.25p you thought it would possibly go lower, just thought that if you sold in the high 30's then 17.25p would have been tempting to pretty much double your holding, but each to their own, obviously if stage 2 is considered not too favourable to shareholders or even worse operations need to be slowed down/stopped then you will be able to buy back in sub 15p maybe even sub 10p so it's all about what you are comfortable with I guess. ATB.

Haven't read any of the posts today yet but are we thinking stage 2 or big Torp announcement could be the reason for the increase in sp and volume today? or is the volume still related the the ISA thing?
