Sipp - All you need to do is not criticise Myo as genuine LTH's on here are very protective of him, really don't understand why you would denigrate him other than envy/jealousy, no point in protesting that that isn't the case as it will just confirm everyone's belief that that is the case as there doesn't seem to be any other logically explanation.

Best you don't call other members of this BB 'idiots' either as obviously it just isn't constructive at all is it.

If you can avoid the above transgressions then you will have a much more enjoyable time making plenty of money along with us LTH's.

Sipnoob - I didn't insult you personally, check through any of my previous posts which will show that I do not use bad/insulting language/phases/words ever, whereas you insult everyone on this BB by calling them 'idiots'

All I noted was that you seem to be envious/jealous of Myo and I was just trying to make you see that it's not a popularity contest so you need to chill out.

No need for you to be negative now is there, you have got a reasonable bow buy in price for yourself or did you sell at the top recently and I have a feeling it will turn out that you will buy back at the next year low and then most probably sell at the year high whenever that comes. Just a feeling thats all.

Hi duracel, occasionally I am available to but it's must rarer these days that I can post the closing price so as long as you can post it or usually someone posts it don't they so either way it's all good as all of us LTH's are here for the same purposes, as you have seen from some of the other paid derampy crew posts today there are a faction who do not post honestly or accurately but once you have been on this BB for as long of many of us have you can figure out what their game is straight away then all you need to do is filter or ignore, I just ignore these days in general.

Great start to this week.

Don't be too jealous of Myo sippnoob, clearly he is respected on here and is popular, you on the other hand,unfortunately for you, are not, Myo posts informative, substantive posts whereas you just keep repeating the same post time after time which always consists of the general message 'I warned everyone that what happened would happen but I luckily timed my trades perfectly so I'm a genius investor blah blah blah but please will someone on here give me some attention/credit' waa waa waa whining like a big baby

Just accept the fact that myo is, I don't want to use the word god but he is a bit of a god on this board so it's a sad day for you.

If you don't like it then just don't post, calling other investors on here who have been here many more years than yourself 'basically stupid' is not going to gain you much support but look on the plus side when you bashed the hell out of this share a few weeks ago you ended up with the result you were looking for, i.e a much lower buy in price.

So don't be getting all jealous about who's more popular than you on here, just concentrate on how well I'm sure you are doing with all your other investments.

this week we will see the sp regain the 19.11 % it lost last week and some on top also, would be good to see us back in the 20's asap, if the OO is heavily oversubscribed then there should be plenty of volume with people buying in the open market with their excess funds, that could come the week after next though depending how long it takes for OO excess funds to be returned to our trading accounts.

Should be a pretty good week for the sp here anyway.

I agree with Fred, it's easy to get despondent when the sp keeps falling but history in watching the sp here shows us that it can turn around in only a few days and then everything will look and feel much better, there is little point in paying attention to the sp at the moment, start looking again in 4-6 weeks for 25p + then the end of this year for 35p +

This is just one of those periods that you need to go through if you are a LTH in the stock, lets see where we are in 18 months time, my guess is somewhere between 50p-£1 so no need to be concerned at sp movements at this point in the project.

Well done all LTH's things looking very positive for the mine to be completed minimum on time but I suspect we might actually see it completed late 2020 with any luck!

Hi Minesinthemine, yes HL have taken my money and it now just shows how many shares I have requested, we all have to wait a week though to see how many of the requested shares over our guaranteed allocation.

With regards to when the funds will be returned the co responded saying:

"Your question relating to the time it takes for any excess funds to be returned to your trading account should be directed to your broker."

Well I asked my broker and they said that it is the company who dictate when the funds are returned so guess I will have to get back on to HL and show them what the co are saying as one of them must be giving me the wrong info clearly.

Well my recollection was that at one point you continuously trashed the share, obviously it worked if you did indeed buy at 16.27.

Well i must be an idiot then for asking that question, so because something could go wrong in the future companys can't give any idea when they hope to have the mine officially opened? Ok 15LIVES thanks for your response, good to see that there are some fellow genuine LTH's that are still civil, sippnoob has only been here for 5 minutes and isn't even invested yet he seems to think he can denigrate LTH's, it was only a couple of weeks back he was trashing the company non stop if I remember correctly.

I currently have invested £55000 which has given me a holding of 302,540 shares in total at an average of 18.02p so no I am not down very much at all, less than 4 % currently.

I have applied for 33333 shares in the OO so if that is granted i will have £60000 invested and will hold 335000 shares.

So you are incorrect once again, also how is today to January 2021 2-3 years?

Ok so we have established that the first question is justified but what is so outrageous about asking when as things stand the opening ceremony will be? I'm presuming they will have one? if so won't that be a landmark day for the company? maybe it's because I'm a LTH that I think knowing when the mine is due to open is important as have been waiting for that day for a very long time.

Sheps- The reason why I emailed Sirius is because I asked my broker (HL) when any unused money would be returned and they responded with the following:

"Thank you for your reply.

I'm afraid that Sirius Minerals plc has not indicated when cash will be returned for applications that have been scaled back.

We expect to receive the new shares on or soon after Thursday 23 May, and excess cash is normally returned shortly afterwards, although I can't be any more specific than this.

I'm sorry that I was unable to be of more assistance on this occasion. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

So who is incorrect here you, or my broker? does it seem such a silly question now that you understand why I had to ask Sirius?

With regards to my 2nd question don't you think the company should be able to give an estimate on when as things stand they expect to officially open the mine? after the OO I will have £60,000 invested in this project so I don't think it's unreasonable to ask the co a couple of questions bearing in mind it's the first time I've ever emailed them since I first invested 5 1/2 years ago.

I apologise if my questions are not deemed to be good enough, hopefully I will be able to come up with better ones in the future.

Obviously impossible to say as the next few weeks will be volatile before everything settles down in the 20-30p range.

I would have thought we should test 20.40 again at some point in the next week but who knows.

the following email, still waiting for a reply, says it can take up to 5 working days for a response which is a long time these days but am just looking for conformation of a couple of things, will update on here when I receive a response:

"Hi, can you give me any idea of how long it will take for excess funds to be returned to my trading account if I don't receive all of the extra shares that I apply for in the open offer?

I've seen some people say that it will be 2-3 weeks? I 'm hoping that it will only be a matter of days but if you could give any idea of how long it could be please.

Also can you confirm when the opening ceremony is currently due for the mine to open? I don't mean when the poly is being shipped, I literally mean what date are all of the dignitaries and press due to turn up to watch the red ribbon being cut and someone declare "I officially declare woodsmith mine open" I read some where that as things stand that is due to happen January 2021? then the poly starts to be shipped out later in 2021?

I agree that checking every 5 mins is pointless if you are intending to hold until production as I am, like I said guess it must just be addictive.

Also I agree that I must be insane to hold everything in one stock, it was never my intention for it to get this out of hand but it's about to get even more out of hand as I have an allocation of 13700 for the OO but am applying for 33333 in total which if I get them all will cost £5000 which could be a case of throwing good money after bad but obviously I believe by the end of this year we will be back in the 30's I hope!
